The hotel has wonderful staff and is in a great location, the annex rooms however let the place down slightly. The windows were held in place by crisp packets and cardboard, the noise from other rooms and corridors means I struggled to sleep. There's some minor upgrading and maintenance needed to the rooms but overall the staff made up for the overall experience

Hotel looks lovely and the room was spacious and had a good sized bathroom with both bath and shower. We were in anannex as we had the dog with us. Breakfast was good with a reasonable choice of foods but our stay was marred by our booking for dinner on the Sunday evening. We turned up to find the dinning room empty and no staff around. After finally finding a member of staff, we were told the chef had phoned in sick.

No attempt had been made to contact us or even leave a note about the necessary cancellation. Not exactly very thoughtful as it was a busy weekend and getting a booking elsewhere was never going to be easy. Pitlochry itself is a lovely area and we'll worth the visit.

Where to start? a roller-coaster of disappointment. Firstly there was no space in the car park so we had to park in a pay & display. After struggling to find our room due to no signage we got in to find no towels were left but that didn't matter much as on the 3rd floor the shower pressure was so poor you'd struggle to get wet. The bathroom looked recently refurbished but was poorly finished with grouting on the tiles and stains on the laminate floor.

We then went to the restaurant for dinner which was disappointing. Breakfast the next morning was no better. We then tried out the spa (our main reason for booking) where the changing facilities were grotty and the jacuzzi out of order. So we retreated back to our room to instead try and relax with a cup of tea but after seeing the filth inside the kettle decided this would be damaging to our health.

Any hopes of a nights sleep were dashed by the thin walls allowing us to hear the 2am rants of our neighbour. Catching up on sleep the next morning was not an option as tradesmen were sawing doors at the end of the corridor. Was glad to check out.

Stayed here for a spa weekend for one night, for many reasons I will not be returning. First off half of the building is not currently being used but can still be accessed, and due to the lack of signs you end up wandering around trying to find things and walk into old rooms with broken furniture everywhere. The bar isn't very nice and the outdoor seating seems to be more of an afterthought, with cheap, uncomfortable metal high chairs and tables thrown outside by the carpark.

Breakfast wasn't great, it says freshly made to order but it blatantly isn't. Most staff were nice and friendly. The pool was ok though a little small, so not enough lounger chairs and these were usually taken. The rooms were very dated and not the nicest, and bed not the comfiest. The only saving grace was the massages we got which were very good, it's a shame the spa area isn't bigger as there isn't anywhere to go and sit to relax after other than the few loungers by the pool.

I'm glad we didn't stay for dinner here as the bar and restaurant were completely dead on the Saturday night, we walked round the corner into town where it was actually very busy and some lovely places to drink and eat. It's a lovely area so when we return we will definitely stay elsewhere.

Nice hotel in a great location. Friendly staff. Lovely swimming pool &spa. Food great, good portions & well cooked, even better as there was a 20% discount offer. Breakfast was very good, good choice of cooked & continental foods. Rooms are spacious & clean, but very tired. Need upgrading, especially the furniture. Also could do with a blind or net on window as well as curtain as a road ran passed window & people could see straight in.

The room we had (143) overlooked a nice wee garden, but also the laundry area & a flat roof with dirty water running from a pipe, gross. Had to complain to reception twice about staff smoking directly under our window. It was warm weather so we had window open resulting in room stinking of smoke, had to keep window shut. The only other negative that we had ( not about hotel but Pitlochry) is that everywhere (pubs/restaurants) are ridiculously expensive, so due to this we won't be back.

Hotel lovely and clean and staff friendly and helpful. My friend and I shared a standard double room which was spacious and clean. We stayed for 3 nights and the breakfast was good; plenty of choice. We made great use of the spa and leisure facilities and had two great treatments. We will defo be visiting again. I had read a few negative reviews about this hotel befit our stay but it was great value and we enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Lovely room. Very enjoyable pool and spa. Disappointing there was no meal service in the evening, particularly as there was heavy snowfall one evening and we had to leave the hotel to eat. Be very careful 3 weeks after being there I received a 100 parking fine from a private company who run their parking. When I contacted the hotel to question this I was given absolutely no assistance.

I was told to take it up with the company. I was there on a two night stay. I arrived by car registered my vehicle on checking into hotel. Despite doing this accurately at the time it was suggested by the hotel I could not have. Disgraceful shoddy treatment by Scotland's Spa Hotel who have recently been airing a very glossy advert on STV recommending it.

Very disappointed by this treatment. I won't be paying the fine. I have since contacted hotel on this parking matter by telephone and email without any response by the management of the hotel. Does not surprise me. Very shoddy service.

Would rate it currently 3.5 out 5 Staff are professional and friendly and the Spa area is excellent. Rooms are tired and needing upgrading urgently ( our room had massive carpet staines) but plenty of room and comfortable. Facilities are good although they are not serving dinner here yet and you need to go elsewhere or dine at their sister hotel up the road ( Fishers). All in all, we had a good weekend away and would go back.

Had a great time here. Ignore some of the lower scores and comments, this is a great place to stay. It's an older building and some parts could do with freshening up, but our room was immaculate, a good size, 3 windows and plenty cupboard space. All the staff we encountered were a delight - very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was an ideal size, the tomatoes actually cooked (instead of a cold hard lump on your plate) and the plates were hot to keep your meal warm.

The pool and spa area were lovely and we were lucky enough to be the only ones there on a Thursday evening . The treatment area was lovely and would try one next time. I would love to visit here again.

Nice hotel just a minute walk from main street. Room was OK but one bedside lamp had a loose lampshade due to broken attachment. Breakfast was good and although they didn't serve other meals they offered a discount at their other hotel (Fishers Hotel). Coffee and tea making facilities along with wifi, a hairdryer and iron in the room. Overall I would recommend it.
