All rooms are individually decorated with co-ordinating fabrics and soft furnishings, creating a relaxing atmosphere in warm and comfortable surroundings. Each room has full en-suite facilities with free guest wifi, hairdryer, telephone, flat screen TV and radio/alarm/cd player. Iron and ironing board facilities and allergen pillow and duvet are available upon request.
The Restaurant at The Russell is inspired by Scottish influences with a traditional yet contemporary edge. Head chef Michael Smith has developed a dinner menu that not only utilizes the most seasonal of flavours, but also showcases the local produce provided by the wealth of dedicated and talented producers and suppliers that we have on our doorstep.
The Russell Hotel, a Victorian terraced townhouse, is situated on The Scores overlooking St Andrews Bay and is just 2 minutes walk to The 1st Tee of the world famous 'Old Course' and yet, just as convenient for the town centre, award winning beaches & historic sights such as The Castle, Ancient Cathedral and the centuries-old University of St Andrews.

Really enjoyed the food here. Small area for tables inside along with a bar and coffee machine. Lunch menu offered various selections. Service was good, bread, water all brought to table. We had crab and lobster ancinni to start. Lovely sauce and cheese crisp. The lamb was tender and gravy with vegetables to be recommended.

Visited for drinks, coffee and food while staying next door. Friendly welcome from bar staff. Grant, David Pierre and a young lady. Who always greeted us with a smile and had a chat with us. Great service. we ordered. and they brought our drinks outside to our table. The bar area was always busy with guests and tourists. Worth a visit See you all again next time;
