Those who take the one-hour drive from Inverness to the Royal Marine and Leisure Club do so for one of two reasons: they either know the hotel and its fine points - unlimited golf, pleasant ambience, rugged countryside. Or they happen to be lucky. Whatever the reason, they come to relax, enjoy the calm, admire the untamed countryside, and converse with interesting fellow guests. No obligations, untold opportunities to do what you like, when you like.

Stayed here August on separate occasions. Had the superior link room at first which was amazing, brilliant sized room with a lot of facilities. 2nd room not as big but just as good only downer was for a room where 140+ a night you expect a bigger tv that doesn't have a line of dead pixels down it and the extractor to be clean. Found the restaurant to expensive with a very small menu range. Quality top notch though.

The place is very dated and over priced, I complain about our first room as it was boiling, and if you managed to open the window there was a large fan outside making a terrible noise, So we move to room 19 which was cooler and quieter but the bed was so small I finished up sleeping on the floor! I did bring this to receptionists attention when paying the bill who said she would tell the manager, who would call me, still waiting! I feel you just take the money and run. I noticed a review about the pool, WHAT POOL
