Amazing hotel with a great staff. Everything about the room was perfect. The heated bathroom floor was the perfect touch to the well appointed space. The staff were friendly and helpful

Spent the night here as a surprise for my birthday, firstly may I say Chloe on reception went out of her way to help us, the room was absolutely astounding! Both the dinner and breakfast were fantastic, helpful cheery staff, quick sevice and always with a smile, our stay was definately one to remember. Can't wait to return.

Went into bistro for family Sunday lunch. Place was empty - table for two finishing up, table for seven beside us and that was it. There is a choice of three starters and three main courses - very simple and straightforward. Ordered two starters, three adult mains and one kids meal. Weren't told of any anticipated delay. 25 mins later husband went to bar to ask what was the delay?

They would check. told they were plating up (a bowl of soup and a salad). When these came out they asked if we wanted the children's meals so we said yes - about seven mins later they arrived. The children both finished their meals. And we waited, and we waited. Eventually a manager came through and we stopped her to ask where were our mains? She said a table of 30 had just been served so that was why we were waiting.

We asked were we not important? As holiday home residents and bistro regulars was our money and custom less important? We were told no, but that was the reason for the delay. She went off to check what was keeping the food. We had just had enough, so when another manager came and asked could she help, we just asked for the bill for what we had eaten.

They knocked off 20% which was appreciated, but to be honest when there is just three set starters and mains, surely it shouldn't be that hard? Hope that table of 30 come back week after week, cos we will be giving our money to some of the other Portrush restaurants for the foreseeable!

Was at the restaurant. ordered chilli chicken pasta. massive chunks of pre cooked chicken with foul taste, half an onion amongst the dish. Complained twice as staff didn't return to acknowledge my complaint. To be told by 'supervisor' who said the chicken was the same as my friends who had the chicken salad which was lovely and not reheated. She then said it was the same stuff and we were wrong. But because I ate the 6 bits of pasta she said I was only entitled to 50%?! worst customer service ever, very uneducated staff when it comes to dealing with complaints.

80 for uncle Ben's sweet and sour, rump steak that was cooked 5 hours earlier with cream and pepper corns for pepper sauce, shocking how someone could send food out like this and the restaurant wasn't even busy,

Third time in two weeks in the Bistro for food They have 50% off Mon-Thurs in September. We've had a variety of food. Highly recommend the cottage pie. That's a must. Chicken penne pasta also v good. Not so keen on the duck. For me as a veggie I only really have 4 options: spicy bean burger, gnocchi, cheese pizza or brie and fig pizza. Haven't had the cheese pizza yet but the rest are really good. Stretched our tummy's last night and had dessert.

Lots were sold out with popularity, but I managed to get my hands on Pavlova. OMG it was soooo good! I'd miss the dinner next time and just get two desserts The menu is online on their website and it has a good variety for meat eaters to choose from. Hard to pick which is why we've been back so much! Staff have been super friendly and attentive every time. Seats well laid out with dividers.

Love the interior. There is a cosy homely feel to it with lots of maps and photos of Portrush. I do recommend pre-booking as they're really busy. Update Jan 2022: Couldn't resist the 50% off in January so back we came. Honestly, the food was exceptional tonight. Hubby said it was the best rump steak he'd ever had in his life. Cooked to perfection.

My gnocchi was super good as always. Strawberry cheesecake to finish off with. Delicious. Pic is of the Eton mess I had last week. Definitely recommended. PS Just checked my Google maps timeline and we've been over 15 times in

Poor choice. Noisy with a adjacent night club. Clean but rather a business type hotel overlooking a van park. Absolutely joke of a breakfast, no bacon, cold mushrooms luke warm beans, no toast a truly embarrassing Ulster meal. Best avoid

Went for dinner at the bistro tonight, Was very good but a few mistakes and down sides. Sat down was served drinks quickly, don't get mocktails was literally black currant dilute. But nice selection otherwise of beers and gins. Starters amazing no faults at all. Mains, pizza beautiful, however sisters chicken was pink thankfully she noticed and a new main was brought.

Dad and mum and brother in law all loved theirs no complaints at all. Ordered steaks and scampi. Desserts a mixed bag, sponge was microwaved too long and rock hard, tuck shop sundae (kids) was horrendous lol was literally a scoop of plain ice cream with a couple of jelly beans stuck on top. Not a tuck shop sundae. However cheesecake and pavlova went down a storm. Staff where friendly, and restaurant was clean and spacious. Will deffo be back though.
