Bit out dated but very clean inside. Breakfast was brilliant with plenty to choose from. Dinner was very expensive and the pudding portion was laughable. All in all a nice stay but go elsewhere for an evening meal.

MOTORHOME CAMPING REVIEW. Good place to reserve for the night if you are going on the ferry to the Outer Hebrides for the price. However they do lock the doors to the toilets at 10-11pm and they didnt reopen in the morning when you really need them. We had to phone reception and ask for the doors to be unlocked. They should work around a better system for their customers. You have been warned!

Called in for a drink. Bar half full.thought is was a nice place to eat but. Sorry we cannot serve you tonight for food. Ask again as we only wanted pizza. I can do you take out was the answer. OK thank you. I'll finish my drink. Went to order the take out. Answer no chance I cannot do that. Only thing I can say is stay away. Weird way to treat customers

The hotel was conveniently located a couple of minutes from the town centre. It is on the Loch so if you are able to get a forward facing room, you won't be disappointed. The ground floor room (we had room 2) also has a balcony and chairs to sit outside. The triple room is huge and is very comfortable and has lots of storage. Breakfast had a big range of food and was delicious. Dinner was also fine. The staff were all very helpful and friendly.

After arriving in Ullapool exhausted during the NC500 on our bikes with EVERYWHERE booked for dinner Paula so kindly allowed us to sit in the lounge area and have a meal as I am Diabetic. Her kindness and willingness to help was amazing. Great place

Recently visited the Royal for some late night food. Not only were they they only place in Ullapool with a spare table, but the food was high quality and good value for money. The bar was well stocked with a great selection of whiskys and the staff were incredibly warm and helpful.
