The Glenora Hotel UPVC windows, along with UPVC doors and UPVC conservatories, are designed to trap as much heat as possible. The Victorian conservatory design is very popular and accommodates many home's architectural designs and exterior decor. This is because it is cheaper, and you can find plenty of affordable options right now, especially when double glazing installers seem to be getting into the mind-set of lowering their prices to attract more customers at the start of the year.If you are interested in Local Glazing Prices for Sash Windows, there is a cost guide to read here.

The Glenora is a lovely place to stay! The location is brilliant, very easy to get to, the breakfast was amazing and the prices are good too. It's a lovely building, very cool to stay when you're in a city like edinburgh, rather then some impersonal modern hotel.

We stayed at the Glenora Guest House for 3 days and overall the experience was positive. Positive Points - Clean rooms which were big enough (in one case, just big enough) - Bed was comfortable - Newly renovated bathroom were nice - Cooked breakfast was good (no choices in content, unappetising alternatives). Negative Points - On the first two nights, we were in a room on the first floor facing the street.

Which means that the room was quite noisy in the morning. Even more so since there was a deviation in the road nearby which means that ALL cars and buses in the neighbourhood were passing right outside our window, and making it rattle. (We were moved to a rear facing room for the last night which was nice and quiet). - The walls are very thin, meaning you can hear the next room quite distinctively.

You can hear people talking. I'd hate to think if they quarreled or did other things. Again not helping in the quiet departement. Overall the hotel needs more sound insulation. - The shower head, in what looked like a newly refurbished bathroom, didn't stay up correctly and made having a shower impossible. In the end we used a face towel to tie it to the post to be able to have a normal shower. The bonus? It's right next to haymarket station, and so many buses head that way from various places around the city. Easy to get back to at the end of the day!

I cannot believe that this place has the audacity to call itself a hotel.more like a hovel! i also can't believe the ludicrous price we were asked to pay.100 a night to stay in a dirty, ill painted, ill decorated nightmare. The 'En-Suite' was a portaloo in a cupboard ( not joking) and it stank of stale water. It was also leaking into the breakfast room below!

There was one towel for two people and that smelt of damp. The bed was from the 70's and the windows were jammed open.probably to get rid of the vile smell. Breakfast was disgusting and I daren't touch the dust covered cereal jars! Do not stay here! Charging money to stay in places like this should be a criminal offence. I feel robbed and dirty after my visit to the festival and next year I will get a taxi to Glasgow as it will be cheaper and more luxurious than this excuse for a budget, downmarket B&B. It never was and never will be a hotel!

When I called to book the hotel I was told that the price they advertised with "Visit Scotland" was not valid as they put their prices up for the edinbugh festival. Nothing like ripping people off to get them in the mood for a festival. Everything about the hotel is done on the cheap. Toilet built into a cupboard, uncomfortable bed, stained pillows, noisey pipe work, windows hard to open/shut and to top it off the food was rotten.
