Beautiful view to enjoy a drink, but not enough staff, very long wait to be served. Don't go if you haven't got 2hs to spare.

Booked lunch on line in the restaurant for 1.30 for 2 for an anniversary. On arrival complete dismay that we had booked the restaurant as there was a wedding on with food being served to the wedding guests at 1.30. As there was no one eating in the restaurant we asked to sit on the Terrace and were told we could have the restaurant menu. It turned out that because of the wedding we could only choose from the Terrace menu.

If not for the views I would have given one star as the food was typical pub grub. The hotel had my phone number and email address and could easily have informed me that the restaurant would not be serving food at 1.30 ( if at all that lunchtime). Nice place for a drink when the sun shines.

Was a really nice hotel but the room I was in I couldn't get an internet signal even with wi fi also my mobile network I couldn't even make or receive calls I did complain to the customer service but they said some rooms it's like that but they should mention it that depending on what net work you with you may not be able to use your phone or internet I'm with 3 network my mrs with Vodafone she also had no phone or internet service in the room so if you rely on your phone and need it to work in the bedroom is have 2nd thoughts but if I on other hand not being able to use your phone in bedroom doesn't bother you then it's worth booking I was more worried about people not being able to get hold of me in an emergency!

This place has got to be one of the best places in Torquay, we have been coming here most of my life and on this visit, it was the first time I had been back, I wasn't let down, it was everything I could remember and more, the location is breathtaking, the apartment team are welcoming, attentive and helpful, thank you for everything and I look forward to coming back in the future!

This was a nice stay for the weekend. I few bits were broken. The bedside light and the sauna. I wasnlooking forward very much to a sauna so this was disappointing. The lady that booked us in on the Friday was lovely. The house keeping lady's who had a European accent was particularly lovely and helpful too. The place has a modern look. It's not one of those Dusty looking dated hotels.

Breakfast could have done with a vegan option. Towels were nice. Beds were very comfy and well made. I wanted to eat dinner there but it was valentines weekend and for 3 days they only served valentines set meal which was 40 a head. Myself and my son were staying here and after long walks on the cliffs a hearty it was a shame that we couldn't just grab a basic meal if just 1 course. We instead offered a just eat to our room.

Just returned from a 2 night stay here in a sea view family room. We were not disappointed at all, the room was immaculate, the view spectacular. The staff can not do enough for you and the service is excellent. The breakfast was quality produce with plenty of choice for a hot and cold breakfast and was delicious and the dining room staff were very efficient.

We used the swimming pool and sauna which the children enjoyed. The only thing that we was not aware of before the trip was the 25 per person per night holding fee that is charged to your card on arrival, this was 200 for our family of 4, luckily we had enough to cover this and it didn't effect our spending budget for the weekend. I think that this should be mentioned on booking before arrival for visitors to budget for. Other than that i would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning soon.

Having just left this hotel at 2am after finding disgusting stains all over the bed frame, cushions and mattress, cobwebs, scaffolding obscuring a "sea view", flaking window frames, and blood and other stains on the towels, we raised this to the duty manager, we were moved to apparently the "best room in the hotel". In this room there was also stains on the bed and after raising it once again with the duty manager, who was more worried about interrupting his sleep and wouldn't be sorting a refund until the morning, we had had enough and was forced to stay 10 minutes down the road in a chain hotel, in a bed with no stains, at a fraction of the cost with fantastic customer service!

The only positive about this experience was the night receptionist was friendly and understanding. I question when the hotel was awarded the "4*" status as it certainly would not meet these standards now! My advice would be save your money and don't stay here!
