April 2022. Property has recently changed hands. Previous owners clearly haven't spent any money on the place for some years. Nice staff and nice food but the place is run down. Check the website to see if newly renovated rooms, bar, restaurant pictures appear.

A very nice venue for an evening meal. there are a lot of fish and seafood options on the menu here and they all looked stunning. I particularly enjoyed the Cullen Skink and the seafood platter.

Scenery was spectacular. Very disappointed with change of attitude towards dogs and need for gluten free diet. Phoned and checked when booking and all seemed welcoming and inclusive however reality was very different. Dog owners not made welcome and only expensive items available for gluten free diet on the menu.

Amazing location with views of the bay. Pretty coastal village with great seafood restaurants but booking in advance essential. Attic rooms in annex are small but quirky. Food excellent and plentiful. Staff and owners very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely time.

Lovely friendly staff and a very tasty lunch. A great menu and the Specials board was moved to allow us to see it (without asking). Would recommend eating here if you visit lovely Plockton.

Ate here for dinner while touring Scotland and had a wonderful dinner. The Venison Ragu was excellent paired with a glass of red wine. Had the Chocolate Rum Cup for dessert - very good! I appreciated the waitress bringing the specials menu board to the table so we could reference it while ordering dinner. Lovely staff!

On our way to explore the Isle of Skye, we needed a room for the night. Lucky for us all the inns along the main roads were full and we found Plockton Inn. We arrived about 6pm and were warmly greeted by a nice young man. After getting our room, we went down for supper, again sincerely greeted by all staff. I chose one of the specials, Venison Ragu, and was very happy with the choice. Tender meat in sauce with pasta was a large portion and husband enjoyed his burger & chips. Breakfast, included with room stay, had a wide variety to fit all tastes and appetites. **Highly recommend this lovely gem of a place for room stay or just supper.

On my tour of Plockton I stopped in here for lunch and dinner today! Nice pub local ales on tap and the food is brilliant huge portions and cooked to perfection. I had mussels to start as I am a huge mussel fan possibly the best I have ever eaten and an absolutely massive portion and for my main I tried the smocked fish cakes which were delicious. Think I will skip dessert as I am stuffed!

Nice hotel and pub located in the center of town by Plockton Bay. The pub offers a variety of food and daily special menu items, including a wide range of fresh seafood. I ordered a cheeseburger with chips and my wife ordered a seafood platter. Both meals were very delicious with generous portions. The pub has table service which was friendly and attentive. The prices are very reasonable for both alcoholic beverages and food. Free WiFi and restrooms are available for guests.

We came here for dinner with reservations made through Rabbie's Tours. Space is limited, so during high tourist season, this will fill up for dinner service. This venue had everything: amazing food, live music, local beer on cask, and friendly service. I ordered the seafood sampler (22) after being told the restaurant did all of their own smoked seafood.

The difference in quality was astounding. The Scottish style smoked salmon (not the cured Norweigan type) was the best smoked salmon I've ever had. If you look at the photo, it's the two slivers of salmon on the left that look like your regular baked salmon. The texture was oily and flaked apart. The combination between sweet, salty, fatty, and savory was mind-blowing.

On top of that, they had a phenomenal, hyper-local ale on cask, Plockton Brewery Yarrowale. This was honestly one of the best beers I've had in the UK. Others in our party were very happy with their food. One ordered the salmon entree with feta, olives, and sun-dried tomators and spinach salad. This was easily the best food I had in the Scottish Highlands.

Came here for dinner after we checked into a nearby B&B. This little place really gets busy. You must make a reservation or you'll be disappointed if you walk in. I overheard a small group were told they were fully booked for the night when they tried to get a table at 7. So we were served warm near upon sitting down. The bread was so good, it was warm, dense and moist on the inside and had a crispy crust. So so good, so so dangerous. We ordered 3 apps and 4 mains. They were all good. All in all again it was difficult to pick a winner. I posted pictures, you decide.

I think it's a little ridiculous to have live music literally only meters away from the hotel rooms that goes late into the night and during the week. Not ideal for an early morning especially with no notice of this. The only thing louder than the music is the drunk people.

Great wee pub in Plockton, I second all the Gogs says about the place. Although the pub quiz is now held on Fridays. The pub also has darts and a pool table. The bar staff are very friendly and know their real ales well!

Lovely hotel/restuarant/bar in the beautiful little village of Plockton in the West Highland, I've eaten in the restuarant a couple of time and found the food to be very good, the local seafood is recommended. The bar normally has two real ales on tap, these are usually London Pride and one of the beers from the micro-brewery in the village. In the winter local musician play traditional music on a Thursday night and there is also normally a pub quiz on a Saturday night.
