The location was beautiful. The room was incredibly spacious and had an incredible view. The staff was awesome and friendly. The food was very good. I enjoyed this stay the most of our entire vacation. We will absolutely be back. There was no whiskey and gin on tap in our room. Not that it was ever promised. Just would have made it that much better. But seriously nothing was wrong. Everything was fantastic.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The setting is outstanding. The service was very good, very attentive. A short walk from the distillery. Beautiful views everywhere! We would definitely stay again.

Really nice place to grab a coffee or tea and lunch. I did not stay here for the night. Only visited Raasay for a day.

The fish and chips was superb, the batter was one of the absolute best I've had. The building is lovely. We'd had a bit of bad news just as we were walking in for our meal, but the staff were friendly and helpful. We'd happily return for another meal should we ever make it to Raasay again.

Called in for tea and a bite to eat at 3.10pm. Girl said if we sat outside, as weather was nice, someone would come and take our order. Waited 15 minutes. No-one came. I went back in and was told someone would be out shortly. 5 minutes later a girl came out and took our food order. A few minutes later she returned to inform us they had decided to close the kitchen early today and there would be no more food served.

It's mid afternoon for goodness sake! It's not so much the fact that they closed the kitchen early which is annoying, it's the fact they knew we wanted food and waited 20 minutes to take the order. Almost seemed deliberate because they couldn't be bothered to make up the order. 15 minutes later they brought chips to the table next to us. Unbelievable!

The only option we had was to order tea and cake which eventually came. The view was nice, the cake was acceptable but the service was atrocious. Worst I've had in a very long time. Looks like they've stopped caring because they know there are no other options on the island for people visiting to get any food. I won't be returning. Remember folks.if you're planning to visit Raasay take a packed lunch!

The place to eat on Raasay. actually the only place to eat on Raasay. Would be good if there was a little Buttie Bus or Coffee and cakes local baking type place near the ferry perhaps. Great evening service and food. Steak properly cooked medium but the Cullen slink was disappointingly short of fish, espy for such a location. It tasted good though. Interior decoration and grand outlook.

My family and I had a wonderful trip upto the Isle of Raasay. The only request we made to the hotel staff was that we had to catch the ferry back the next day. The reception staff agreed to kindly arrange an early breakfast - a takeaway at 07:30 (service normally starts at 07:45) as we could not afford to miss the first ferry. Despite multiple reminders, the restaurant staff were clueless in the morning.

I cant explain the disappointment and how difficult it was to start a 6hour drive with hungry kids on board. The next stop to breakfast was after 1.5hours and that didnt board well with my little ones. Terrible! The rooms were decent size and staff was polite. We had an amazing dinner the previous evening. Though we got a room that faced the back garden, I suggest that the rooms could be maintained better(stained kettles, dusty window). I dont think the room was worth the price we paid and would suggest other B&B services on the Isle. Not worth it!

Popped in on our bikes for a coffee after cycling round the island. Friendly staff, excellent strong latte and fresh cakes. 10/10 - go and see for yourself, would recommend

My husband and myself came to Raasay House Hotel as part of our honeymoon. We absolutely loved every second of being on this beautiful island and at this wonderful hotel. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond making it a truly memorable stay. Their local knowledge of the island and the passion they have for their island was incredible. The waiting staff worked their socks off and were usually there at both ends of the day, always with a smile on their face and plenty of chat.

The food was amazing - I especially enjoyed the Cullen Skink and the breakfast set us up nicely for our 8 mile walk to the bothy and back. Amazing variety at the bar with lots of Scottish Whiskeys and Gin - we especially enjoyed the Gin and Whiskey made in the distillery literally 100 yards up the road. On our final day we returned to our very loved and very old camper van to find it wouldn't start, David (from the events team) and Bob (the gardener/handyman) came to our rescue and called in a few people they know for the island who managed to get it started.

We cannot thank you enough for your patience and kindness. We will definitely be back and hopefully be able to partake in some activities next time. Thank you to all the staff at Raasay House Hotel
