The property sits in its own extensive grounds and some of the accommodation is situated in outbuildings. My accommodation in the coach house was spacious although the furnishings were worn and there was a distinct lack of attention to detail in the laminate flooring some of which was 'lifting', tiling poorly finished and shower screen( poor quality) in the shower room.

It looked like these rooms were hurriedly finished. The main building is reminiscent of a large Scottish Country house. Overall the property may have been four star in the main building, but certainly wasn't in the coach House.

Food and staff were great, room was beyond awful. The coach house is used for dogs so please be aware as this is not mentioned when you book in or book online which is ridiculous. Dog friendly rooms should not be used for other travellers unless thoroughly cleaned, this was not the case at this hotel. Spoiled what should have been a lovely anniversary night away and would not recommend as the good points do not outweigh the bad. Certainly not 4 star out with the main hotel building, I've stayed in nicer hotel chain rooms.

The best hotel I've been to yet. The Staff are very friendly and treat you like Kings and Queens. My family had a last minute getaway, and the hotel managed to fit us in for the bank holiday weekend. The hotel itself is very clean and modern, and also is great if you have a pet with you on your stay. The Hotel room was very up to date, with 2 4K Televisions, and a comfortable double bed, and a En-suite Toilet with a shower, toilet, and sink. (Can I just add, the massaging function on the shower was amazing.) at night time the living room had a log burner, and you could sit around it with a drink.

Not forgetting to add, the breakfast was delicious. This hotel is by far the best hotel I've been to yet, and if someone has something bad to say about it, then they're thinking of the wrong hotel.

Right in the heart of Pitlochry, this is an ideal location to explore the town on foot, to walk along to Killiecrankie or down to the Loch. Travelling further afield is easy too. The hotel was set in beautiful grounds, the staff were fabulous and the food was lovely. This is definitely somewhere we would return.

A fridge in the room would have been useful. I don't like bothering reception when I need sonething cool. But other than that, Inhad a great time. Ben, Nicki and Diane were great on Reception, as were Andrea and Robert in the restaurant.

Staff of this hotel are great but the hotel is definitely not 4 stars, maybe it was 20 years ago but the decor is terribly old fashioned in the rooms and just needs decorating. The bar area is lovely but every thing seems so up tight like it would be against the rules to talk or laugh loudly. The grounds are beautiful but then so is the whole of Scotland pretty much. I think this place is trying to be something it isn't.

Traditional hotel with great services. We stayed here for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it, the meal we had on night one was very good if a little pricey, the bar was well stocked and the staff were all lovely and took an interest in everyone personally. Rooms were comfortable if a little dated, beds were grand and our bathroom had recently been refurbished so it was clean and the shower was great. Overall a very enjoyable stay and we would recommend.

Would not say it was 4 star by far, have stayed in many hotels before that are rated lower and are on the same spec as the pine trees. The breakfast was faultless and the staff were very friendly and helpful could not fault them. But we have to say the room was not cleaned. The bathroom shower screen was not fixed or sealed to the shower tray an leaked badly, the grout and silicone seal inside the shower was disgustingly black, the shower itself was not secure to the wall, the paint was pealing away around the fan, the ceiling was covered in little dead flies and there was hairs stuck to the ceiling!

The heating was on in the room but was still cold and the drawers and wardrobe were covered in dust!,.pretty disappointing for 4 star rating. Our opinion is the room was tiredly needing a good deep clean and the bathroom in need of alot of attention. Unfortunately we wont be revisiting any time soon.

Outstanding food and hospitality in a lovely and inviting country house. My partner and I enjoyed new year here 21/22 and had an amazing time. The staff are incredibly attentive and the food is top class. That partnered with a beautiful setting, easily accessible local walks and cosy sofas by the fire, whats not to love. We would certainly return although would opt for a larger room next time (we snapped up the last available vacancy for new year and the bathroom was a little on the small side).

Lovely staff, comfortable rooms and great food. Very dog friendly. Our second visit and we will be going back. Within easy walking distance of the town centre and short driving distances to many attractions. Guests and staff were very covid aware and all guidelines followed.
