Hidden away in the quiet village of Port Appin, on the shores of Loch Linnhe in Argyll, surrounded by the spectacular raw beauty of the magnificent west coast of Scotland, you will find The Pierhouse Hotel and Seafood restaurant.
Services
Our little hotel with just twelve rooms sits on the shore of Loch Linnhe, by the pier where the ferry goes back and forth to the island of Lismore. It truly has a spectacular setting with its views across to the island of Mull, the mountains of Morven and the Ardnamurchan peninsula and is peacefully tucked away at the end of the road.
Our rooms are very comfortable and some have views directly on to Loch Linnhe. Our General Manager Fiona McLean and her team are here to ensure that when our guests arrive they always receive the warmest of welcomes. We have both dog-friendly and dog free areas around the hotel, so all our guests are comfortable.
Our philosophy is built around our love of food, thus the sourcing and working with the finest of our local suppliers, fishermen and farmers to ensure that we have the freshest and best of everything is vital. Chef Michael and his team are passionate about cooking with this amazing produce and very much enjoy being part of the vibrant local community.

We stayed for 4 days three weeks ago. We turned up as strangers and left as best friends. The rooms were faultless, the service was great - sometimes a little slow at breakfast due to pressure of work -no problem. The seafood was incredible and I know for a fact that when we return -which we surely will - we will be greeted like long lost best friends with hugs all round.
I have read the few negative reviews a and have come to the conclusion that not every wierdo is safely locked away. Rock on Pierhouse people, can't wait until for our next visit Gwynne and the rest of the team x x x x

Really wanted to go somewhere for lunch. We have a 1 year old Springer Spaniel and a lot of places don't accept dogs inside, and there's not many places to choose from in this area of the world. Have been coming to this are for 30years now and have been to the Pierhouse on many occasions. This time however was exceptional. We were allowed to have our dog in the bar area where we had our food private to the other diners with the most beautiful outlook over to Lismore.
The food was beyond quality. To say this time of year is quiet there was no holding back on the food, it really was a memorable meal. The service was fantastic and even with masks you could see every member of staff who tended to us had a smile in their face. Will be going back much more frequently going forward and would highly recommend

Staff were lovely, place was spotless and the food was great. If they could have just fixed the weather it would have been absolutely perfect. We stayed dinner B&B for three nights and will certainly be returning. A beautiful area as well and not too busy. A very relaxing atmosphere. We don't have one but dog friendly too. Go, you will not regret it
