We stayed overnight in June. The pics suggest a lovely old county hotel. But we were in a Virgin Experience event and were out in rooms that were big standard conference centre accommodation. No room fridge. Thin walls too. Thankfully we were there in a quiet time. Disappointing. The staff were helpful and cheery which made a difference

Came here for a wedding last week and it's a beautiful little venue. Has a gorgeous area for outside weddings/photos. A bar area and the the function area where the wedding can happen if the weather is a bit dodge. The food was delicious. I don't think I took any photos apart from the actual wedding photos. But everything was lovely.

The food here is absolutely delicious. At a wedding reception we had a sit down meal that consisted of three meats and vegetables, large Yorkshire puddings and roasted potatoes. Followed by a delicious pudding. Our room was spacious and comfy. Everything we needed was available including bottles of water. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place to others looking for a wedding venue.
