Stayed in the superior annex room. Great location to explore Buxton and short drive across to Bakewell and other Peak attractions. Room was generally OK if a little dated but shower head was covered in disgusting black mould so we couldn't have a shower. Hotel staff friendly and helpful though, were very apologetic and discounted room rate. Decent breakfast.

Having spent last weekend at the Leewood for my sons wedding I have nothing but praise for the hotel and staff. All the guests rooms were specific to individual needs (walk-in showers, family rooms etc) and all were clean and well kept. The wedding breakfast was delicious and of a high standard, the fish and chip supper served for the evening reception went down a treat.
All the staff were attentive without being intrusive, extremely welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble ( even when the wedding party arrived back early from church as the weather conditions were too bad for outdoor photos meaning we would need somewhere to take them in the hotel)). I would highly recommend as a wedding venue or just for a break. Thank you to all the staff for making it a seamless, stress free weekend.
