Stayed here last night 17/6/22 as was going to a concert, well from the outside the hotel looked fab, inside a different story, very run down, corridor carpet disgusting, no lift I'm recovering from a hip replacement so find stairs difficult, room was ok, 4 of us sharing, only to cups, 2 glassesand 2 towels!, I had difficulty getting into shower as no rail to hold onto help me in, when you flush toilet it sounds like a bloody jumbo jet taking off, ,t otal cost for our room was 300,w hen asked about this was told it was correct but from tonight you can get 4 sharing a room for 80?, breakfast was ok nothing fancy, one of our party went for a cooked breakfast, looked raw, she left most of it, don't think I would go back, only good thing was staff were pleasant

Hotel was dirty, dusty, badly needing updated. Receptionist welcoming as were all the staff. Carpet on stairs thread bare, strong smell off cigarette smoke when we got to top of stairs, There are signs in rooms and in other areas to inform of large fines for smoking in rooms. Keys for bedroom door instead of card. Lighting in room and bathroom very poor, glad I put my makeup on before arriving.
Bathroom a disaster. Toilet too close to wall, when it was flushed it it sounded like a jumbo jet was in the room, bath panel damaged and badly marked a cowboy has tried to mend it and hadn't a clue how to. Shower head had to be held for the water to be directed on to you. Towels were clean but very worn. Curtains torn and dirty with some sort of fluid stain. Bedside unit dusty.
Bed is knackered and I'm cringing when I say the mattress didn't have a protecter in it. There were 8 of us staying and we all had similar issues with our rooms. We had dinner my fish and chips were tasty although the hunters chicken was eatable it didn't look appetizing. We paid for a cooked breakfast but ate very little as was swimming in oil. They ran out of milk.
The place is a total disaster. We were there for a surprise party. The staff that served us for dinner and the party served us for breakfast too. We mentioned to staff about how disappointing rooms were and they replied that they were a budget hotel. We pointed out to him that we could have stayed at a Premier Inn and certainly wouldn't have had such issues.
At least one member of the staff was then sorting rooms as we were leaving. It would seem they are understaffed which could explain why the place is dirty. I spoke to two other hotel guests and their reply on condition of hotel was bogging, wipe you feet in the way out. The only positive about the place was we were in good company and staff were pleasant.
I've read other reviews and honestly can't believe that some customers have give better reviews it's as if they were in a different place. I hope hotel get in touch and offer an explanation and full refund.

Found this in dyer need of serious up grade. I found the staff helpful but under pressure due to serous under staffing. From what I observed. If I end up attending another function there I definitely will not be staying the night. Very sad it has potential and not much competition in the surunding area.

This hotel was okay! It does the job for a night, rooms were fairly clean and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. All of the staff were lovely and there's plenty of parking. The shower is a bit lacklustre, more of a dribble of hot water. I'd also skip the continental breakfast, very limited options and the bread was mouldy. Not bad at all though!

This hotel is amazing-feels like you are at home. All the hotels I've been to this one is the best. All staff are doing great job, friendly and helpful. Nevermind it's just 3 star hotel. It's 3 kings hotel I'd say. Thanks to all the staff for amazing service, doing extra miles and making this place the best hotel in Glasgow. Park, shops and everything you need is nearby too. I would like to stay here forever.

I came here with my mum and sister for Christmas dinner. The food was atrocious and not worth the money. The steak was not steak and the potato's were hard. Very misleading menu. Everything we had was frozen food and very cheap. Not worth my money. Will not be back. We weren't the only ones to complain.

The hotel wasn't bad! There was a small hole in one of the walls in the room we stayed in but nothing major. The room itself looked quite nice, bedding was clean and the bed was comfy. The night porter was Excellent, really polite guy and helpful. Bit of an underwhelming breakfast but definitely not a bad stay. I would go back!

I had a fantastic experience in the hotel restaurant thanks to the superb host gary. He is an asset to this hotel and I would recommend dining there not just for the amazing food but for Gary and his warm friendly and engaging personality. He should get a bonus for his superb service. He was totally honest in his desire to ensure we had a great experience. I hope management are aware of his value to hotel. We will be spreading the word to encourage all family and friends to dine here. Great job Gary.

Wonderfully adequate. Perfect for the money. Travelling with a broken foot and whilst there is no lift to the first floor two staff offered to help me on the stairs. This hotel is less money than a travelodge but so much better. Spacious room, clean well kept. Travelled with a small dog, great park opposite. We had both dinner and breakfast - the dinner, well what can I say?
The menu was simple, I am not a fan of a mile of options, we had starters a main each and a bottle of wine for 37! Can wholeheartedly recommend the lasagna and the steak pie. I am told the pie is a special- was wonderful, delicious gravy and each morsel was 'melt in the mouth' Gary and his team need mentioning for their superb service- thank you so much for making our first 'hotel' after two weeks on the NC500 so problem free. Do stay here, it's a 3* but very comfortable. Thank you!
