It was like staying at your mates house whit not enough bed to go around, but at least his mum made you a fry up in the morning. The bed was comfortable but too small to get comfy. Breakfast was not bad but plentiful. The room had the worst dip in the floor I've ever seen, the middle of the room was at least 3 inches lower than the sides. no joke. If I had no other option I would stay here again but in a city full of hotels I'd say it was unlikely. Sorry.

My niece booked this hotel for us from on our way from mailaig as a stopover before we carried on our journey home to Sheffield we parked outside the hotel and paid two pound for a parking ticket so we stay there from 8am till 2pm which was great as both me and my partner have disabilities the hotel was clean the room was clean and smelled fresh and the staff were excellent in the professionalism and polite and the breakfast was decent quality and the service from the breakfast staff was first class attentive but not to intrusive.the only gripe I had was the bed was only a double and it was small as I and my partner have king-size beds other then that I would recommend the hotel to others and I would stay again with hesitation

First stay at the sandyford hotel. Lovely big room and even though we were at the front of the hotel and on a busy road I slept really well and didn't hear a thing until morning. Really good breakfast and it was cooked very quickly kept me going till lunch time. Will definitely be back when next in Glasgow

Paid to come but had to cancel because the concert I was attending had been cancelled due to covid, asked for them to honour my booking moving it forward to march when the concert has been rescheduled, no non refundable they said, I'm in a fb group for this artist all of them with bigger hotels have had there dates moved, not these disgusting as a hotelier, wil never ever book a small hotel again.

All the staff were very pleasant and helpful! The room was a good size and had everything we needed. Situated very central and next to kelvinGrove park is a great location for a city break. Breakfast was fine and again the staff were really nice. Would definitely stay again, good value for your money! Thank you.

Nice basic small hotel. Receptionist was a bit frosty. Our room on 2nd floor was accessed by steep curved staircases which made me out of breath! Rooms are clean, plain and simple. Breakfast was served efficiently and pleasantly in the busy breakfast room downstairs, and was hot and cooked well. All in all, very good for the money!

Got a room for 3 people and the wingless beds were comfy and the room was a great size for the price for the three of us - o ly issue was there were some cracks in the roof, the door handle to the room from the outside and from the inside of the bathroom was loose like it might come off? Made opening the doors. unnerving. Some of the wall was peeling in the corners of the room.
There was a strong smell coming from the shower drain. There was no lock option on the door for the bathroom; despite having two locks installed neither worked - one was a bolt that didn't have a hole to bolt into. Bedroom was road-side and the windows were not sound proof so bring earplugs. Kettle, hairdryer, tea and coffee etc provided in room. TV has a slot available for plugging in HDMI for attaching Mobile tablet devices to.
Plenty of storage for belongings. Rooms and locations were easy to find in the hotel. Comfortable lobby seats. About 20-30 min walk into city centre and 20 mins from SECC Hydro Parking - the hotel will give u permits for 2 each and you need two permits for a whole day (Saturdays are free) - overall; good location for what we required, drove to location, found parking, good price and sized room.

Cheap no frills hotel. Very friendly staff. Rooms in need of updating. Furniture and fixtures very worn (wheel was found in a draw which I later found out was off the bed). Mattress very hard. No air conditioning or fans as was extremely warm when I visited finding it hard to sleep. I got a single room and it is very cramped. Bring your own toiletries as the shower gel smells rather strange. Free breakfast was really good. Parking vouchers very useful (2 per half day) and plenty of on street parking. Close to the centre with easy public transport links.
