Holyrood Aparthotel

We enjoyed our week long stay here so much we booked an additional two nights after a tour. The rooms were well equipped and had everything you need for a longer stay. The kitchen has everything you need and the washing machine and dryer were great. The staff were great and promptly followed up on everything we asked for. One night the catch on the washing machine broke and Victoria on reception came up straight away to look at it.

It needed a repair and at 9am the following morning Ryan came and fixed it. They were so professional and proactive. We had the 7 day package which came with a very plentiful and varied food basket.

It was a great location, within 10 minute walk of either attractions or the bus but set back so not particularly noisy. It was clean, beds were comfy, plenty of hot water, shower was powerful. Kitchenette was brilliant as we could self cater, we didn't realise there was a washer/dryer in there too (also wash powder there). We could have done with a few extra pieces of kitchen equipment and softer pillows but they are minor gripes. We will definitely be staying again.

Great space, immaculately clean, had milk teabags sugar and coffee left for guests. Very helpful staff. Great location highly recommend very convenient to city. Tesco round the corner.

Very nice rooms with spacious pantries. I was slightly worried when I saw the old looking elevator and no longer working gym room, but all of my worries went away when entering my room and bathroom which is fitted with very nice soaps (the white company). Furthermore, the location makes for a very calm atmosphere and it is very close to both the royal mile and Holyrood park.

Great location apartment was a great size clean and very quite at night. Awesome price well worth it. Would definitely book again.

Exceptional value for money! Two studio twin apartments for a one night stopover with friends as we were attending Christmas at The Botanics then going for a meal and wanted a relaxing stopover. Only a ten minute walk from Waverley Station, in a lovely part of the old town, quiet area too. The apartments were fabulous: clean, comfortable, spacious and with everything you would need in the wee kitchen.

Friendly and efficient service (online booking and at reception). Plenty of places nearby for breakfast, we had a delicious breakfast at Luscious on Canongate. Holyrood apartHotel is a gem of a find! Will definitely recommend and will use again. Thanks!

If you want a nice comfortable apartment don't stay here. The furniture is stained and shabby, a throw had been placed over the sofa, BIG mistake in moving it. The shower didn't work correctly you needed to hold it with one hand to stop the shower head sliding down the rail. The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable although the linen and towels were clean.

We tried to speak to the staff at reception, that's a mistake they were rude and unhelpful and twice ignored us. Its in a great location it a shame its just nothing like the Webb site. Dont book and waste your hard earned cash you will be disappointed if you go off the Webb site.

The rooms badly needed decorated, the furniture was tatty, the bed was lumpy, kitchen cupboard doors not closing properly, 2 light bulbs missing, broken blind cord, blind in kitchen filthy. Overall this apartmotel deserves no stars at all. It was not a comfortable place to stay. We will not be returning or recommending it. The Montgomery's Glasgow.

This Hotel might be good - if you don't expect too much. I had to give 3 out of 5 points, because it is not possible to give half points. If I could, I would grant 2.5 points, just 2 points would be unfair. It is situated conveniently to the Edinburgh attractions. Some say, it is a 4-star Hotel. My opinion: it is not. The room has almost everything you need, but the outfit is of no high quality.

If you are taller than 1.65 meter, you will have problems with the shower. The hose for the shower is probably the shortest you can buy. Instead of their well selected breakfast hamper you get for the very same 7.50 a box, they call it breakfast box. We never ever had a breakfast like this, with a pack of half skimmed milk that is good for another 3 months, some nuts, corn flakes, a pack of orange juice and a blueberry muffin.

If you stay longer, be aware, that it will be the same every single day. No variations. Around the corner is a Tesco, there you can have a meal deal for 3. But you must eat it soon, it will not last for another 3 months, like the content in the box of the Hotel. We addressed our points at the reception. We thought we will get proper answers, but we were told to write a mail. Thank you for this assistance. We have been there for four nights - that was enough. This Hotel is not on our list anymore.

We stayed here in room 412 for 3 nights and couldn't really complain. The room was open plan and spacious with a separate bathroom. In the main room their were 2 beds, a sofa, dressing table, wardrobe and then a fully equipped kitchen. In the bathroom there was both a shower and bath. On our first night it was very hot but there's air con in the room so that really helped.

The staff were really helpful and gave you advice and booked us taxis along with being more toilet rolls up to the room. The only slight negatives we had with the accommodation was that it could have done with an extra frying pan and the extractor fan wasn't working. For the price we paid for this apartment it was well worth the money.
