Friendly quick check in, good sized rooms. Iron board, coffee making. Good TV. No safe. Comfortable bed. Is a bit of a drive from motorway exit but some good village pubs on the area.

Very clean, friendly helpful staff, felt at home stayed for 2 nights with family. Comfy beds and all facilities in room in good working order. Would definitely come again! Well worth the money. :-

Spacious room, comfortable bed, pillows and duvet. Location is a short drive to the centre of Ashford. Very tired looking hotel interior, carpet is fading, hair dryer has collected so much dust at the rear air intake, leaking shower hose, shower head needs descaling, signs of water leak on the bathroom ceiling, mouldy window rubber seal. Definitely needs refurbishing sooner rather than later. Sufficient parking space. This is a popular hotel chain and I am surprised they appear to be contented with its state. The exterior doesn't look too bad.

We stayed here as a stop over on our way to France. The good: it was cheap and clean, the room was large with a double bed (comfortable), sofa bed and cot bed and checkin was efficient. The bad: very old and worn room, chipped tiles, frayed carpets and dated. Would I holiday here, no. Is it good for a sleep ahead of a morning ferry journey, absolutely.

I've stayed here twice now; both times were the night before a morning crossing on Eurotunnel. I've found the staff helpful and the beds comfortable. There's a bar for the evening. The continental breakfast is about seven quid and is all you need. I paid around 70 per visit and I don't think you can argue with that. The one slight caveat is that more sensitive sleepers I've been travelling with have mentioned that the A road outside is audible. We were at the front of the hotel and it didn't bother everyone - but worth knowing if you're a light sleeper.

Stayed for one night, that was enough. Asked for a quite room away from the lifts etc as we had just driven for nearly 5 hours, and although the room was as far away from noisy areas, we got NO SLEEP at all. The heating pipes banged all night and the noise from the motorway was horrendous. The room was tired, dirty and in dire need of updating, the carpets in particular was disgusting.

That said the breakfast was very good and plentiful (not included in price) and the restaurant staff for breakfast were excellent. Complained to the reception staff the following morning and got a "sorry about that" and nothing else. Very poor for a Holiday Inn

Nice enough horel. Good sized rooms and comfortable bed. Well away from the road so no traffic noise. Breakfast at 11 each is very expensive but you can take it leave it. Read lots of comments about stained carpets etc but you can't expect a hotel to change them every time someone drops something on to it. Please get a life and don't criticise unnecessarily. As a stop over it is very good value and will definitely use again.

The rooms are very spacious, comes with a lot of channels with Sky TV. I've been staying here for 2 weeks on a 6 monthly basis, and I can't fault anything with the rooms. The location is easy to get to, with a 15 minute drive to Ashford Designer Outlet, which is near the Ashford train station. Since my last stay, they've improved the menu in the restaurant, and changed the way they serve coffee! However, I would have liked a bit more options in the menu, considering I stay here quite often. It gets a bit boring with the same limited food option.

Lovely hotel. Reception slow when busy. Car park big and lots of spaces. Room very spacious (2 double beds) which were extremely comfortable. Bathroom clean but a bit tired looking. Would definitely stay again, far superior to Travelodge for the same price.

Food is lovely! Thank you chef! New staff member at reception desk is lovely, I've forgotten her name. she sounds Australian. She's wonderful, cheerful and pleasant. And I think the name is Arman for the gentleman who works the reception during the night. The rest of the staff could do with customer service training, they tend to be a little moody and dismissive. Rooms are outdated, needs a refurb, the shower heads could do with being changed, along with the plugs, and carpet.

The room layouts mean that there's very little natural sunlight, and the rooms are inundated with lamp shades in the corners. Why not have one decent light in the ceiling, and lamp shades by the bed? It's odd having to run around the room in the dark turning them on, as soon as you get in.
