We had two very good salads - green salad with a sea bass add-on, and Caesar salad with chicken. Great pint of bitter to was it down. Friendly staff, good service. The outside patio tables were very nice in the late afternoon sun.

God bed and breakfast establishment We stay here for one nights in May 2022. The Hotel, the Rooms, everything was very clean, al little old, but clean and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The room, the bathroom on suite and the full facility was very British, and you could see that it was a bit olde but really sufficient for some days. The breakfast and the dinner were perfect!. You have free parking places around the building All in All: a great price-performance ratio!

The building is lovely, but unfortunately the decor leaves a lot to be desired. I understand that its an old building, but the wallpaper was peeling in a lot of places, the room looked and felt below par, due to not overly clean or well maintained. Food was OK, but salmon on eggs royal should not be white. Just saying. Bodywash is supplied for showering/washing, but the bottle was empty so had to use hand wash instead. Friendly staff and a warm welcome was good to experience. For a one night stay it was good but probably won't stay again.

The team at the Roebuck, are all very efficient, nothing is too much trouble, they helped me out numerous times over this weekend, as I had Mum and Husband, both with walkers, nothing is too much trouble. It is set in beautiful countryside, with breath taking views. The team is lead by Karen, they are a credit to her, and her to them, everyone had smiles on their faces at all times. I would definitely return.

Just come back from a short break at the Roebuck. While there is no denying that the hotel rooms need some renovation as they are looking tired and in places in need of some repair etc. The fact that all the Roebucks staff provide really excellent customer service, are genuinely friendly and that it is VERY clean is a massive plus. I'm sure that many guests return because of this and I will be too. P.s. the food was delicious too! Its a definite YES from me.x

Staff were all kind and helpful. Rooms clean and smelt lovely. Also I'm coeliac, not only did they know what it was, they had a gluten free menu. Nice to have a choice of food to eat and dessert

Excellent as always, bar and waiting staff very friendly, food lovely. Only thing is the piece of ceiling paper hanging in the bar area, has been since before pandemic, piece of tape and a step ladder would suffice , looking forward to our next stay.

The room was looking a little tired and the chicken burger a little dry, don't let this put you off as the brekfast was banging and the Guinness was goood.

Friendly staff and I feel bad but bad experience and terrible food. Should have known when we arrived to find the once busy pub / restaurant was completely empty at a lunchtime on a Sunday. Taken over by people that aren't doing it right unfortunately. When ordering there were multiple mistakes from the bar staff who didn't understand what we were ordering and also charged us for extras we didn't want.

Photo of menu can reality for an example. Tasted like microwaved and was thin pre-sliced packet beef. They refunded us without any fuss and were very friendly. The staff mentioned that the supplier does the cuts of meat etc so they have no control over how the food comes out but that's no excuse for the quality. On par with school cafeteria food. Also the person next to us returned coffees as being cold and when they remade them he returned them again as being stone cold once again. Just a sad experience really and 12 per roast so not overly cheap. Hopefully they fix the issues before they close down.

We went there on a rainy Sunday. The place it's nice and has characterised. However, food wasn't great. Vegetable (broccoli and Cauliflower was crunchy as some say raw). After serving food nobody came to ask if we need anything. Definitely service wise was 1 star.
