This idyllic 16th Century traditional hotel provides a tranquil and relaxing get away from the hubbub of the modern world. Originally built as a ship owners residence in 1820, this family run hotel is perfect for walkers, couples and families as it is located just 150 yards from two golden sand beaches. The hotel sits on a stretch of coastline in Cardigan Bay with some of the best coastal walks in Ceredigion. The Highcliffe Hotel provides an ideal base for a seaside holiday, for those touring Wales and the business traveller alike.

This is a small hotel, ideal for a short stay. Parking is available for guests. Breakfast was good. There is a bar, open in the evenings. It does not serve dinner. It is best suited to adults. Though it is an old building, my room was a good size with a modern shower room. It is a comfortable place to stay near to lovely beaches in a beautiful area.

Stopped for 1 night. They we're running a skeleton crew doing B&B only but it was organised so we didn't have to wait at all for service. Really nice room with an actual sea view! Comfy bed, well appointed room, great bath / shower etc. Breakfast was well made with good quality food and service was welcoming throughout. Recommended.
