The Tara Hotel, owned by Steve and Pam Fensome, exudes a very homely and friendly atmosphere where guests are made to feel welcome whether their stay is for just one day or for longer. All are treated to the same warm hospitality. The Tara is close to the Stena ferry port (gateway to southern Ireland), the town centre and the Pembrokeshire National Coast Path. The north Pembrokeshire coastline and surrounding countryside offers some outstanding scenery and is ideal for walking holidays. There is plenty of inspiration for days out.

Found the room very small with one bed under the eves you hit your head when you sat up. The furniture was so old. The bathroom was more like a broom cupboard. The glass shelf sloped as did the wash basin could not put toiletries on them. The shower was too small for my husband to shower in. The sanitiser in our room was half used (Covid)? As was the shower gel & the soap.
The carpets went back to the 1970 The stairs was so narrow. The breakfast cereal was already in our bowels when we sat down. The fresh fruit, yogurt, cold meats & cheese was also sat on our table with no covers over them before we arrived how long they sat there I don't know as our breakfast was at 9am. Feel Covid rules wear not carried out. Would definitely not stay there again. This is advertised as a Hotel but it's a very old guest house & not a good one.
