Beautiful setting, so near to the shops and town centre. Gorgeous views from the family room. Very clean rooms and good room service. Such friendly staff and so accommodating. Great facilitaties in the room. Would have been nice to have breakfast. A tad expensive, but it was on a bank holiday weekend.

Wonderful location opposite the harbour, plenty of cafes and bars nearby. Good communication from the staff, they were very accommodating when we wanted to add on an extra night last minute. Due to Covid restrictions, a varied continental breakfast is delivered to your room each morning, which suited us very well! A fairly priced hotel considering the location and character of the building.

The Grove is central, well priced, well catered and a sophisticated hotel. However, the key aspect that makes your stay five star is the outstanding and caring staff that look after you, listen to your every need and consequently make your life better. I had an amazing experience an would highly recommend staying here!
