Lovely hotel, very convenient with afternoon tea of scones and coffee/tea an added bonus. Room spacious and shower water always hot, not always the case I have found in the Lake District. Breakfast quality good, my one recommendation would be to change the hot meals on the menu one of us was a vegetarian and we stayed for 6 nights and the same vegetarian breakfast for every day was a bit limited, could have done with adding pancakes, waffles or omelets as an alternative as a bit of variety.

Sadly we are back home from a 2 night stay at the Bridge House Hotel in Grasmere. When we arrived we was greeted by Helen who was lovely and spent a lot of time with us to explain the Pantry setup, complimentary hot drinks, scones & croissants which were very nice. Our room was an Attic Room with Ensuite Bathroom, it was gorgeous. The selection for breakfast was excellent and definitely lived up to our expectations, Delicious. Helen and the other staff were very nice. We will Definitely stay at the Bridge House Hotel again in the future Many thanks for making our weekend so Comfortable. Mark & Shelly

We had a fantastic stay at the Bridge House! Upon entering, we where greeted by very friendly staff, who even managed to get us a table at the sister pub for dinner that night, as we totally forgot to book! The hotel was very clean, and the free tea/coffee/scones throughout the day made it even more special. Breakfast was superb, and freshly made for you on the morning, in the evenings it's great to wind down with a drink outside.
Bridge House is in a great location for nearby walks, with Helm Crag easily accessible, along with local waters to go swimming etc. The staff where brilliant, and even went the extra mile to help with some birthday celebrations! We would definitely return!

Beautiful Hotel ran by lovely people. We were greeted by Helen as soon as we got to the hotel door, which she had opened for us, nice touch, the people who work there couldn't be happier to take care of our every need. The rooms are spectacular, clean, spacious and decorated fantastically. Breakfast was delicious and I really enjoyed feeding the ducks from the balcony. Garden was lovely. I had the best time relaxing here. Lovely place for people who like walking in picturesque places.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay in this hotel. The staff were fantastic and very attentive especially Helen who is such an asset to this place. The room was lovely and clean. Good choices for breakfast and all perfectly cooked. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The hotel is ideally located in the centre of the village. We would definitely go back
