Not been to Scarborough before went on coach trip and stayed at this hotel, all staff friendly and helpful, good entertainment, drinks reasonably priced. On our stay the food was excellent even though there was a few unusual concoctions. Will day it is very hilly to the town and beach but still worth a stay.

Traveled with daishs coach holidays, pick up and travel to the hotel brilliant, very quick but we was last pick up and first drop off, room decor bit dated, with bath water was hot plenty of it, towels lovely, food was ok, staff very good and helpful. Down side for me bar prices bit expensive for a 3 star hotel. 4.40 for lager, pint bottled cider 4.80. I noticed quite a few people playing bingo but not drinking. Overall enjoyed the break. Ps keep things away from open windowsSEAGULLS steal anything there not shy.

My stay in this hotel was absolutely dreadful the bedrooms were dirty the food was awful and on arrival we had no water just what you want when you just travel all day to get there and then to be told to go and get a pint of water from the bar so could have a drink, no water for a shower or drink managed to get one shower in 4 days one complimentary drink at night was not good enough when we had no water for the rest of the week do not know how we stayed there could be a lovely Hotel, deputy manager of this hotel was absolutely fantastic he was so helpful but it wasn't his fault

The hotel is the worst place I've ever stayed. We were given a room that had had a water leak so it smelt awful. It was damp. We were then moved to another room and the water was leaking out of the ceiling like a tap. We were then moved to another room which stinks of damp absolutely vile. It's horrible my break is ruined. It's my mom's birthday and she's really poorly with asthma and copd so she can't sleep in a damp smelly room. Day two Staff are very helpful and I ended up having an amazing sleep in another room. Food is very good and dining room is very nice.
