Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Cabin we stayed in was exactly like you see on website photo, and space for the car to be parked directly outside the cabin. Food was lovely, again the staff were very attentive and couldn't do enough for us. The Inn is only 10 minutes drive from Alton towers, which was great for us. Benches on grass beside kids park, ideal for a wee drink in the nice weather. We will definitely be back to stay here.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was cosy, beds comfortable. Got a little cold over night, but I can deal with that. The evening meal was superb and worth every penny. The continental breakfast was an excellent spread. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff. And the owner is a lovely woman.

Visited with an "Afternoon Tea" voucher for two. Only one other couple having lunch in the conservatory dining area which was clean & with pleasant views. The afternoon tea consisted of 3 types of 2 quarters of:- cream cheese & smoked salmon on brown bread, ham & lettuce, cheese & pickle on white bread each. The cakes were 3 different sponge loaf slices decorated with a fondant cream & fruit + 2 small shortbread biscuits.
There were 2 warm plain scones with jam & cream. All served with a good choice of different teas. Neither I or my partner enjoy chocolate sponge cake, which we left & both of us were uninspired by the food & the atmosphere. Combined with the distance of travel, we will not be visiting again.

Really excellent. Dog and Child friendly. Accommodated a party of 18 including 3 under fives. Food pre-ordered in advance was almost waiting for us on arrival and was really very good. Staff were lovely, ambiance great. And it has to be said, very reasonably priced. An all round A 1 experience. Thank you.

Stayed here for two nights, lovely place and friendly staff. The rooms are spot on with parking available right next to your room (of which are very comfortable). Breakfast was great, we tried both continental and full English. The first night we ate in the restaurant for dinner and the food was fab. About an hours walk into Ashbourne was lovely, would certainly come back again.

Enjoyed our 2 night break very much. The pub had a warm friendly atmosphere and the real coal fire was lovely on a cold November evening. The restaurant was busy and food looked good however my husband and I are vegans and our food wasn't up to much. The rooms were shallet style and we're clean and warm with plenty of hot water. We upgraded to a suit which had a lovely view across fields. Would stay here again.
