With its enviable position just a stone's throw off the charming High Street of Bourton on the Water and the calming waters of the River Windrush, The Dial House offers you a unique way to enjoy life in the Cotswolds. Built in the world-renowned style known as the Cotswold Vernacular, the building dates back to 1698 and is one of the village's elder statesmen. It has a wonderful character; deep-set stone walls, cosy corners, fireplaces and an individuality that becomes a home from home before you know it.

Great place, great location! Stayed here for two nights and very much enjoyed it. Should be more than a three Star hotel, with great rooms and friendly staff. Had both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and enjoyed both. One minor point (but not enough to reduce my rating), the croissant at breakfast was not to my liking, but hey, I'm a little particular about my pastry

Don't go out of your way for the Sunday roast. Average. Under cooked vegetables. Yorkshire pudding is huge. Fun for about 5 seconds and then you realise it encompasses half the plate. Add in the fact they only provide blunt knives and you quickly realise there's too much thought required to enjoy the meal.

This has to be one of the worst most expensive places and the worst kind of atmosphere and food ever I have come across in hospitality industry when you arrive you not treated properly you sit on a table and get ignored the woman gave us a stinking look like daggers very unprofessional and arrogance is the word I would use quite a lot in this place.
For the price of a glass of wine is 6 pounds ( small glass) whilst it's 3 for a Coca-Cola soft drink! and rose wine what you get is just a cheap bottle of plonk I've tasted many wines I can assure that this Ros'e why is a very cheap brand! I would not recommend this to anyone this place for service communication and customer service is non-existent

We liked the look of this place from the outside but inside, it's strange. You enter via what looks like someone's lounge and I actually apologised to two people on a sofa, as I entered. I thought I'd walked in to private residence. The dining area was small but we were informed there are two dining rooms. The baked Camembert was brilliant BUT if you're charging 3 for a Diet Coke, use a big enough glass so you don't have to leave the can.yes, a can, on the table. It completely crushes the thought of "value for money". Great location, gives the impression of a sizeable pub from the outside.but it's not.

This is a very nice area with a nice river running thought the centre. The Hotel is a very nice place, clean and smart. The restaurant was excellent. The room was a let down, although advertised as a 4 poster room with on suite bathroom with complimentary fruit bowl with tea and coffee making facilities. Yes the room did have a 4 poster (the roof of which had a funny stain) the fruit bowl was a wrinkly apple and an orange but the bathroom was fantastic, spacious and with a bath in the middle of the floor with plenty room for 2!
