Dial House Hotel With its enviable position just a stone's throw off the charming High Street of Bourton on the Water and the calming waters of the River Windrush, The Dial House offers you a unique way to enjoy life in the Cotswolds. Built in the world-renowned style known as the Cotswold Vernacular, the building dates back to 1698 and is one of the village's elder statesmen. It has a wonderful character; deep-set stone walls, cosy corners, fireplaces and an individuality that becomes a home from home before you know it.
Services
Welcome to a wonderfully spacious, beautifully appointed room, with a queen-sized bed - some with both bath and shower. A Superior Room in The Main House offers Olde charm, and peaceful riverside views, while in The Coach House, a few steps from the building, you'll enjoy elegant, modern design.
Treat yourself to a majestic room, and luxurious experience, with sumptuously crafted interiors, a king-size bed and expansive bathroom. Like The Regent Rooms, you can choose between the timber-beamed charm and riverside views of the Main House, or modern style of The Coach House, where one room offers a secluded garden.
We send out occasional emails, only when we have exceptional offers and news that we think you'll be interested in. We will never use your data for any other purpose and it will never be shared with anyone else.

Great place, great location! Stayed here for two nights and very much enjoyed it. Should be more than a three Star hotel, with great rooms and friendly staff. Had both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and enjoyed both. One minor point (but not enough to reduce my rating), the croissant at breakfast was not to my liking, but hey, I'm a little particular about my pastry

It's a table service restaurant, there's no bar you wait to be seated and served, it's a little pricey but the food does look nice,

Lovely place to stay. We stayed in the coach house and had a good size room. A little noise outside but nothing unreasonable. The hotel bar in the garden is great with friendly service.

Don't go out of your way for the Sunday roast. Average. Under cooked vegetables. Yorkshire pudding is huge. Fun for about 5 seconds and then you realise it encompasses half the plate. Add in the fact they only provide blunt knives and you quickly realise there's too much thought required to enjoy the meal.

This has to be one of the worst most expensive places and the worst kind of atmosphere and food ever I have come across in hospitality industry when you arrive you not treated properly you sit on a table and get ignored the woman gave us a stinking look like daggers very unprofessional and arrogance is the word I would use quite a lot in this place.

For the price of a glass of wine is 6 pounds ( small glass) whilst it's 3 for a Coca-Cola soft drink! and rose wine what you get is just a cheap bottle of plonk I've tasted many wines I can assure that this Ros'e why is a very cheap brand! I would not recommend this to anyone this place for service communication and customer service is non-existent

The hotel itself is in a beautiful old building, furnished in a stylishly homey way. The food is excellent. The staff are friendly and thoughtfully helpful. We had a wonderful few days with the hotel as our very central and well-placed base. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Our stay at the dial house was excellent.the location is great, right by the water and every staff in the hotel is extremely hospitable and friendly. We got a beautiful idyllic room on the first floor with a decent size and modern bathroom. Looking forward to coming back here in summer

We liked the look of this place from the outside but inside, it's strange. You enter via what looks like someone's lounge and I actually apologised to two people on a sofa, as I entered. I thought I'd walked in to private residence. The dining area was small but we were informed there are two dining rooms. The baked Camembert was brilliant BUT if you're charging 3 for a Diet Coke, use a big enough glass so you don't have to leave the can.yes, a can, on the table. It completely crushes the thought of "value for money". Great location, gives the impression of a sizeable pub from the outside.but it's not.

This hotel should not even be quoted. It is not open and has not been for months. They took our booking but cancelled two days before the due dat. Steer clear of this place.

Lovely place. They have a good covid friendly plan in place with food ordered from a outside pavilion. We really enjoyed the sausages, fresh pasta and an avacardo and bacon salad. delicious.

This is a very nice area with a nice river running thought the centre. The Hotel is a very nice place, clean and smart. The restaurant was excellent. The room was a let down, although advertised as a 4 poster room with on suite bathroom with complimentary fruit bowl with tea and coffee making facilities. Yes the room did have a 4 poster (the roof of which had a funny stain) the fruit bowl was a wrinkly apple and an orange but the bathroom was fantastic, spacious and with a bath in the middle of the floor with plenty room for 2!
