Award winning and top-rated, high quality B&B Hotel located right in the centre of Cheltenham. When we bought The Abbey in 1998, we chose it due to its amazing location in the town centre. Equally easy walking to Sandford Park Lido & Cheltenham General Hospital as to the restaurants & bars in Montpellier and the Everyman theatre just off The Promenade & High Street.
Each of our 13 Bedrooms offers free WiFi, a Tea and Coffee tray and flat screen TV. Beds are made with crisp white cotton linen. All rooms have a shower in the bathroom. Complimentary Cole and Lewis toiletries and a hairdryer in each room make the suitcase lighter!. Prices shown below are approximate.
For Parking, we provide guests with a day permit which allows parking on the local roads in "Parking Zone 1". You can have 1 free permit per room if you book direct with us or else it is charged @ 2.60 per 24h from 12 noon if booked through an agent. Note that the permit is not for the public carpark.
Cheltenham is a very busy little town, with an enviable calendar of major festivals and smaller events. Cheltenham has lots to offer the shoppping enthusiast. Finishing up in Montpellier with its privately owned boutique shops and the Suffolks with a handful of fantastic Sunday Markets throughout the year.

Very clean and the lady of the house was very welcoming, she made us feel comfortable. one complaint we think is worthy of mentioning maybe for future reference. our last morning breakfast was quite uncomfortable as Greg we believe his name to be, made us feel A little rushed as he began clearing our table before we had left. It may be a good idea not to make your guests feel rushed or uncomfortable especially as you offer breakfast up till 10.00am. We booked for 9.45am

It's a bed and breakfast! Very welcoming hosts and the breakfast was outstanding. Room was comfortable and clean ant the location couldn't have been better. Fridays & Saturdays are lively in town and we could hear one of the local pubs in full swing. Earplugs are provided, but we didn't feel the need to use them, it didn't stop us getting a wonderful nights sleep.

Greg and Sophie host a lovely traditional B&B. It has a range of rooms (single, double and family) and a breakfast area and small resident's lounge with an honesty bar. The breakfast menu is classic English and the hot choices are cooked to order. The rooms are kept very clean with frequent changes of bedding and towels.
