We stayed at the Crooklands 7/6/22 following my son's small wedding earlier in Kendal, 19 of us plus 1 child and 1 dog for a meal with half the party staying the night. From initial booking to check out this morning I cannot recommend this place enough, the food was amazing, rooms were immaculate and the customer service was second to nome. Nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Thanks for having us

Are there.was advised we would have to book but we turned up after spending a couple of days in windermere and they were very welcoming.meal was great however a couple of locals made us feel very unwelcome and overheard him telling waiter we were probably from the country fest we were sat in your dog friendly area but went outside in the end.not good for your business!

Just spent a very enjoyable two days staying at Crooklands. We were greeter by the friendly staff and told about where to go and what we could do as we'd brought out dog with us. Were really impressed with our room and the bed was really comfy and massive. We ate dinner and breakfast both days and the food was delicious (I hope the Cumberland and black pudding burger I had from the specials menu becomes a regular item as it was delicious) The staff were really great and couldn't do enough for you. Would definitely recommend and will be back to stay the next time were up in that part of the world

Excellent experience from start to finish. Check in was smooth and staff very polite. Room was very clean and great. We ate in the restaurant and the food and service were excellent, again very friendly staff (nothing too much trouble). Breakfast was delicious and staff very good. Would definitely recommend.

The room was clean and tidy, the staff are friendly, the food is great. Lovely breakfast and evening meal. Decent beer etc. The hotel is very smart and located only a mile off the M6. Perfect for traveling north to the Lakes and Yorkshire. We will certainly be interested in staying at Crooklands again. Can say that the rooms and meals were excellent. We had a party of eight-we all had different starters mains and desserts but each course was served without delay or fault. Staff excellent and nothing was too much trouble Starters and desserts seemed pricey but you do get value for money. Cake ---and rendition of Happy Birthday was a Bonus. Thank you Chris Rob and all.

I have just arrived to the Crooklands hotel and am already impressed and thus feel compelled to compose a write-up. I was welcomed warmly and the staff made my arrival easy and inviting. I was hungry and tired and their excellent room service was very much enjoyed. Such lovely people and their friendly and welcoming spirit has made my short time here already a good one.
