Great room, bathroom, spa facilities, lovely breakfast, well equipped gym, great coffee and very accommodating staff. I was only there for one night but they let me check in early, request a vegan breakfast, use the spa facilities beyond check out and lend me a towel. Lovely stay. Would stay again and again.

We've been going for years and this time we had a complimentary stay and went on Friday. Only thing that lets this place down is how dated it is but I can only give it 5 stars because the staff. Staff are amazing so friendly and nothing is too much. Especially Olivia who is so lovely and attentive. Massive hotel to do up so understand it's going to take time. Breakfast is lovely just poached eggs have to be fresh but can't moan asked for fresh ones and they were perfect.

I can't even begin to explain how awful this place is. Although it's heart breaking to see a business collapsing it is also frustrating when you pay 300 for two nights for it to be one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. The room was very spacious which is the only positive thing I can add to this review. The sofa beds had huge gaps in when made up, the travel cot was filthy (it literally costs about 30 to replace them?). Called for room service 5 times (took 20 minutes to get through) which I can appreciate they can be busy however the food was inedible.
Everything was frozen. Things added in dishes that aren't stated on the menu (especially annoying and dangerous when you have allergies). Hidden discretionary tip and a service charge on the receipt? It was hardly a service, we tipped the poor embarrassed chap who had to bring the trash on a table to the room purely out of sympathy for him. - thank god there's a garage opposite There was a tea tray in our room which had already opened bottles of water on it. the shower head was filthy, towels smelt weird then headed to breakfast for even more disappointing food.
I understand they are probably trying to make up for lost money (assuming they owned the closed down slopes next door) but paying what I paid and experiencing what I did was so frustrating. On departure we were not asked how are stay was nor was there anyone on reception so I couldn't even explain my frustration whilst I was there. Spend your money elsewhere as the basics are missing. Awaiting my automated response on how they feed this back to the team (I'm sure nothing will change looks as though it hasn't for the last 20 years).

We have stayed at the Coppid Beech because we attended Our friends wedding. From arriving we were treated with the most respect and courtesy, we got drinks from the bar again great customer service. The wedding venue within the hotel was stunning and every detail was extra special. The food was amazing and the decor was so stunning. Our room with a balcony was beautiful and clean.
The bed was ultra comfortable I needed more tea and milk the staff were only too happy to cater for us A very impressive stay. We can't understand the negative reviews Wbecause we have stayed all over the UK and would highly recommend The Coppid Beech.

A lovely hotel. All 5 of us in a room I would call a suite, it was huge! Very spacious it made us all feel comfortable and relaxed. Breakfast was amazing, the kids loved it. The beds were cozy and the facilities were great! Will definitely book Coppid Beech Hotel again for our stay when we next visit Legoland!

Stayed for 3nights with family. Lovely hotel, and staff pleasant. Breakfast was OK but for a 4 star hotel, I would have expected fresh fruit in a bowl not mixed as pieces in a fruit salad, and an assortment of pastries and muffins which most 3 star hotels serve with children In mind. The pool is nice but needs to be warmer. My disbelief of our really lovely room was the furniture.
The table lamps are outstanding but the wooden furniture is outdated and poor. The unit in our room rocked side by side which was dreadful. The decor needs attention on the glum walls and old artex type ceilings. The bathroom was lovely but again a toilet seat that moved. I have been in much better 4 star hotels BUT The hotel is nice, the rooms are nice but they are being ruined by the old looking very tired furniture. Come on Coppid look at your rooms you really need some life put in them.

Dirty bath and mouldy bathroom. Toilet seat was loose and off the toilet. Definitely bathroom needs cleaning and updating. Baby's cot had no mattress, foam or padding so baby slept on a towel on a hard base. Two sets of towels were provided for 4 people so we had to request more which came promptly and with a smile. Hairdryer wasn't working so we had to request one.
Single pull out bed wasn't ready and no sheets were provided for it. So daughter had to sleep on a duvet with no duvet covers and no sheets or mattress protector. Mug in the room was stuck to the tray and dirty of coffee. Restaurant food was great but the waitress could do with a smile. Receptionists were very welcoming and helpful. Loud music was on and it felt like it was vibrating the floor until late at night. And loud people were walking the corridors at night.

Lovely building, quite innovative for Berkshire. Reception not overly welcoming, we were left to sort ourselves out for where to sit for afternoon tea. Afternoon tea lovely, shame the staff didn't know what they were doing! Nor could they provide a receipt for my friend as she'd booked on line! Decor a tad dour - tired. Could be a great place.

I stayed here with my wife for one night, checking in 22.1.2022. We both thought this was a lovely hotel. The building is impressive and has ample free parking. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean. Most of the fittings had seen better days but the bed and pillows were comfy and we would have had a fantastic night's sleep had it not been for the noisy couple in 326 waking up half the building at 3am with their bickering!
The swimming pool was decent, though could have done to have been a couple of degrees warmer. The hot tub, sauna and steam room made up for this though and the gym was better equipped than my usual gym at home! The food was superb both at dinner and breakfast and the band they booked in the Bierkeller downstairs was really good (I could actually hear them properly after putting in my earplugs. Getting too old for music that loud!).
I can't comment on the usual price of the room or food because I booked this as a Virgin Experience for 139 including 3 course dinner and buffet breakfast. Google suggests rooms from 53 which would be a bit rich for me. Drinks were pricey (4.75 for a bottle of Corona) but not extortionate. They are currently carrying out much needed renovations, but I reckon once these are done it could move up to five stars from me.
