Place wasn't clean food all over the floor. Wasn't that busy and out of 5 orders 3 were wrong. Customer service was very poor. Used to love this place but gone rapidly down hill. Other customers walked out while we were there To top it off the girl was really rude when we went to pay at the bar. We won't be back.

Went for a family sunday dinner at 19:30 & asked if you could choose (3) mixed meats but was told by the bar lady that the chefs would not be too happy but maybe 2 at a push but I dont want to ask. Unfortunately we ate at the wrong time as our meat was partly dry & my partners looked like the ends of the meat. Vegetables were lovely though. Spoke to the bar lady about it upon paying & she came across as abrupt & quite rude when I was going to ask for a goodwill gesture or money off never came out.

To start with the positive, I liked the availability of local beers, service was cheerful, room was clean, got a good night's sleep, breakfast was excellent and breakfast staff chatty and friendly. Our meal I felt was largely "gourmet" convenience food. It looks good on the menu but I doubted had been made on the premises. I had tempura vegetables and a chorizo platter.
Both were dry and overcooked. The homemade chips were actually quite good however. At 126, I felt our room was overpriced. Overall it was a pleasant stay. I hope the proprietors will take my constructive comments in a positive manner.

Food was amazing! Staff were friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the superior suite (room 1) it was spacious and warm and really homely, my only complaint was the bed put my back out and I'm on painkillers(3 days later) because it was SO hard and lumpy. I actually got up and dressed at 3am to lie ON the covers to see if it would make it comfier but sadly the quilt was quite thin so it didn't help
