Here at BLOCKS you'll find the finest quality produce, sourced from local suppliers - we even get our eggs from happy free-range hens just 5 miles away! All of our delicious steak comes from Cumbrian farms and we also stock many gins, craft beers, ice-creams and cheeses nearby. We believe in decent portions at great value prices which is why you get TWO FREE SIDES and ONE FREE SAUCE with every main from the BLOCKS Grill.
Our newly refurbished single rooms are perfect for the single traveller. Each room is en-suite with a shower and includes a freshly made-to-order breakfast, luxury toiletries, fully stocked tea tray, hairdryer, ironing board with iron and free parking. A compact double room with all the amenities you need.
All published rates include VAT or local service charges at the current rate. The Allerdale Court Hotel reserves the right to alter prices for any reason up to 12 weeks prior to arrival. Up to this date, prices may only be altered to reflect a change in the rate of VAT or local service charge and taxes or for any other reason outside of the control of the hotel, in which case the changes will be notified to the Client.

Stayed here with my family this week, 4 separate rooms of different kinds. (Single, doubles & family). The rooms were spotless clean, light and airy and the shower was amazing. The hotel was easily accessible with parking and the staff friendly and informative. We ate in Blocks restaurant attached and Felicity could not have been any more helpful.
She waited on us hand and foot, extremely pleasant, professional and helpful. The steak was gorgeous and the breakfast was amazing! Thank you so much for looking after me and the family. Was such an enjoyable stay, made that way by the staff. Thank you.

The staff can only be described as "excellent". No request was too much trouble. Quick and efficient service. We had an issue with the heating not working in our room and our room was changed within minutes. The hotel restaurant was a cut above the rest, again with attentive service and quality food. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Nice two nights at the Allendale, the room and toilet/shower area were clean and tidy. The bed was a double and we found it small but comfortable. The breakfast was lovely, cooked fresh to order, served at your table by the extremely nice staff members. Overall a great stay but if there is a next time a bigger bed Thanks to all the staff, you were great.

Absolutely wonderful hotel! From the warm reception at check-in, to the spacious room and massive bath tub, this place is lovely. They have a very nicely decorated and cosy bar / restaurant area, rooms are spotlessly clean and modern, and it's really close to the center of town (not that it's a huge place, but still.) Several of my family members stayed here over a weekend and we loved it :)
