Services
For breakfast, we provide a wide selection for our guests. You may like to try the traditional Manx kippers, or enjoy a generous English breakfast. The more health conscious can chose from a selection of fruit, yoghurt and cereals. Early (limited) Breakfast available, please book the evening before.
Suitable for a Short Break, Your Business Trip or for an Extended Stay, our comfortable Self Catering apartments are ideally located in the centre of Douglas, the capital of the Isle of Man. The Arrandale Apartments are only a few doors up from the Arrandale House with its cosy restaurant and bar where you can enjoy breakfast, dinner or a drink.
With its unique history and unspoilt natural beauty the Isle of Man is a haven of peace and tranquillity. Away from the pressures of modern living, you can step back in time as you board a horse drawn Tram or travel on vintage steam trains. The Island's picturesque glens, stunning waterfalls and imposing mountains offer you breathtaking views and great outdoor activity opportunities, such as hiking, angling, swimming or horse riding. There are no less than 8 golf courses to choose from around the island plus clay pigeon shooting, indoor bowling, scuba diving and much more.
Approx 1 mile from the sea terminal, along Douglas Promenade, turn left at the traffic lights by the Villa Marina theatre. Go up Broadway Hill, straight across the next set of traffic lights then take the first turning on your right into Marathon Road. This leads directly onto Hutchinson Square and you will see the hotel in front of you on the corner of the gardens. We stayed for three nights in this very clean, friendly and well run accommodation, bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.

Efficient and friendly communication. We stayed in the Arrandale apartments, close to the hotel. Overall very good and would certainly use again. 15 minute walk uphill from seafront. We found it a 10 mins walk to no 3 bus stop at St Ninians School-not so steep to walk up to and easy walk back down. Large bed but very firm. Well equipped kitchen. Washing machine.
Several WiFi routers which worked well but for a number of days we were without a reliable connection. The owners had an engineer in looking at it and the fault could have been with the Comms provider. It worked well on our last day so it could now have been fixed. A nice touch was various games and books to borrow from the communal hallway.

Our stay was amazing! The rooms are lovely, ours was a sun trap, very clean and could see the castle as well. Arrandale reception handled by Scott and the lovely restaurant lady have been very helpful. Scott got us a fan from a different property when it was very sunny one day. We requested for soy milk due to lactose issues and the lady made sure we had it the next day for breakfast. Overall it was a great stay, quiet and relaxing. Would highly recommend.

A lovely building from outside, overlooking a very peaceful lawn square. Interior was pleasant and a small reception area with information leaflets and public telephone with direct link to a Taxi Service. The room was a fair size with drawer cabinet, wardrobe, double bed and basic TV. The ensuite was basic size with a very adequate power shower. Overall very lovely experience for a long established guest house.
The breakfast is served between 8 & 9am, you don't want to miss it. Wonderful, and could change anything on menu without any hassle. I'd highly recommend. Great Value for what you receive. Its registered as a 3 star, when rightly deserves 4 stars for kindness and service.
