Good hotel, rooms are nice and comfy and modern ISH. Friendly staff. There is a gym you can use if you phone and book in. It's only small but has the basics for a decent workout. 8/2/22 the bar was closed so just the one bar/restaurant. Food is good and they have a very good selection of drinks at a fair price. Seemed to be some repairs and maintenance happening near the bar area so perhaps the separate sports bar is due to be open soon. Enjoyed my stay and managed to get a good night's sleep. Will be back.

Christmas lunch very disappointing. Starter very nice. Main course terrible vegetables like bullets served on cold plates and dishes with turkey balls with stuffing like fast food fare. Expensive for what you get including drinks. Slow service considering we were the only people there dreary atmosphere. Never again

Lovely setting and I think deserves more custom than it seems to get. Visited for a party which was well hosted with good food. It's been around for many years and we in fact had our wedding reception there 38 years ago! It is still a welcoming and pleaent atmospher with great facilities. Price wise I'm not sure as we didn't pay for the party but I believe it was competitive.
And being 'out of town' there was huge parking facilities, beds for overnighters and a golf course! Swimming is also available but currently under repair and there is a gym. A great facility in a convenient location.

Nice hotel room and picturesque backdrops. The biggest setback for this hotel is that there are not many points of interest nearby. Its a good 15 min walk to the nearest small village which only has a couple of pubs and restaurants. We left our car parked in the car park here and caught the bus to and from Bath City centre which takes about 40 mins each way and runs until midnight.

I stayed here from Mon-Thur for 2 weeks as I was having my induction in a new job nearby. Being away from home this long on your own is never easy however the amazing staff here made me feel like I was in my second home. I cant fault the staff here And the food is pretty amazing too. Highly recommend. 5 star

We stayed here for 3 nights on a bed and breakfast and a meal in the restaurant on the first evening basis. The hotel is spotless and the staff are superb. We stayed in room 212 on the first floor a double room. The bed was a king size bed and the room was a very large room. Again spotless. We ate in the restaurant on all the evenings as the food and the service was excellent.
The staff could not do enough for you be it in the bar the restaurant reception or any other areas. The staff made you feel very relaxed and welcome. We were sorry to leave this hotel One of the best we have stayed in in the UK. I'm sure we will visit again.

Just a one-night stay but enjoyed the peaceful comfort of this leafy hotel. Deluxe room was well appointed; only gripe would be the lack of plug sockets by the bed, a strangely common omission in this technological era. Breakfast was tasty and reasonable value and the staff were friendly and efficient. Recommended.
