The Bull??s Head Hotel is a homely village pub that dates back to the 17th century and retains many of its original features. The Hotel is situated in Fountain Square in the picturesque village of Youlgrave in the heart of the Derbyshire Peak District. The Bull??s Head has been run by the Atkinson family for 22 years and has been run by Mark and Sharon Atkinson for the last ten years. At the Bull??s Head you will find good beers and a wide choice of good value, traditional pub food including vegetarian options. Families are welcome.

This was honestly the best food we have ever eaten out.the atmosphere was lovely.the service was impeccable. and the food was beyond amazing. We will be making this trip in the near future despite it being quite far away - well worth it. The pies were homemade and beautiful. Quality meat and flavour. The steak was perfection with a beautiful sauce. Great quality hearty pub food. Really friendly atmosphere for dogs which was an excellent bonus

We ate at The Bull's Head on Wed 1st June. We were a large party so booked prior to visiting. Communication through email was excellent and easy. On the night everything we had ask for was as it should have been. The staff were friendly, the food excellent with a generous portion size. Some of the party had steak which was superb and cooked to perfection! We had a lovely evening and will definitely come back in the future. Many thanks to you all.

I have eaten regularly at The Bull in Youlgreave over the past 4 years and always experienced great food and friendly, and efficient service. Based on this I booked for a large group of family and friends last weekend for a birthday celebration. Most people commented that they were the best pies they had ever eaten, served with a portion of delicious creamy mash or fantastic double cooked chips. Great and very quick service for a large group. Would highly recommend

We were part of a large party celebrating a birthday and this was our first visit to Youlgreave. The food was served promptly and efficiently by friendly staff and was piping hot and plentiful. Definitely the best pies we have ever tasted, packed full of filling and very flavoursome, the chips and mash were cooked to perfection. Can't wait for our next visit. Thank you to all at The Bulls.

I've eaten and drank here on many occasions and this pub is my "go to" when in the area. Martin the owner is always very friendly and polite. The service is spot on, a good choice of craft ales which to me is important. Recently I tackled their pie and chips (not for the faint hearted) very filling tasty pie and delicious home made chips! I'll be back!

Table booked for 8 of us after a walk in the Goyt Valley. Arrived early but were happy to seat us. Proper fresh, homemade pub food, a good selection and additional Specials options too. Food was top quality. Well presented, good portion size, full of flavour. Kids meals went down well too. It was the perfect way to end our day out in The Peak District. We will definitely be going back.
