Gordons Hotel

Not really one for leaving reviews but this is deserved!, Me and my partner come away for the weekend and this B&B is fantastic! Second we arrived was greeted by lovely staff, sat by the poolside with a pint was lovely in the sun Room clean and tidy, bed comfey and relaxing, shower is amazing, breakfast is lovely, the stay we had at this place is amazing I would highly recommend this lovely place and would come again Well worth the price .

This was not just a b & b! A few days away for a catch with a friend. Perfect location, Room: Spotless, modern (with traditional touches). Great breakfast (local produce). Swimming pool, amazing garden area to sit after a walk. Owners were welcoming and there if we needed anything. I've never written a review before, but this was a special place. Value for money? Absolutely!

I have never been to such a friendly and welcoming B n B It was spotlessly clean. So much space. A wonderful garden and pool. Breakfast was delicious served with a smile nothing was too much trouble. I just wish we could have stayed longer. If you are lucky enough to be able to stay here you will not be disappointed.

Comfortable beds, lovely breakfast. Staff are absolutely lovely and welcoming. Pool looked great but a bit too cold for me to have a outdoor swim in Maytime lols. Fabulous location to stay, plenty of little shops and restaurants around. Looks very much like Matlock A***

Couldn't pick a better place for a stay in Cheddar! The service was fantastic and such a good price! Decent breakfast too, with a very delicious fry up. The location cannot be beat! There is on site parking which is invaluable when the town gets very busy. Everything is within walking distance, including the gorge, so its a great spot to explore from.

They had a lovely outdoor pool which opens for the summer season (from May), I was very disappointed that it wasn't open in April as I was looking forward to taking a dip, but I will just have to come back in the summer! The rooms could do with a few touch ups and the hot water wasn't completely reliable, but it didn't put me off the stay! Would definitely recommend

We both really enjoyed our two day stay and wish it had been a little longer as there is so much to explore in the area. Our hosts were very welcoming, our room cosy and spotlessly clean. Good choice of tasty breakfast options. Gordon's it only a short walk away from a variety of choices for lunch/evening meal. Overall a lovely B&B.

Perfect, our stay was very comfortable, room was immaculate, our host was friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast hit the spot. Warm family atmosphere will definitely go back.

A fantastic place to stay, easy access to all major towns and villages nearby, very clean and bright accommodation, very comfy. Great choice of breakfast, Rory the owner, is very friendly, with great banter, who looked after us really well, lovely surroundings in The hubb of Cheddar, highly recommend to all, you won't be disappointed

Our stay was very comfortable and pleasant. Rory and the staff are helpful, friendly and aim to please. The room was clean and well presented with all you need for your stay. Plus you are close to everything. I would have no hesitation in recommending Gordon's.

We've not long come back from our latest stay at Gordon's. We love it there so much and have been going since not long after they opened. Lovely rooms, fantastic location and great value. Breakfast is always good with quality ingredients used. The owners and staff are always attentive but never intrusive, friendly but still professional. We shall continue to go here as often as we can, it's a very special place to us.
