Broad Oaks Country House

My husband and I had our wedding at this amazing venue last week. From start to finish everything was perfect! The staff are absolutely fantastic. Our wedding coordinator, Little Jo, was brilliant and ensured our day went smoothly. However, in the run up to the big day we spoke with Viki and Amber who were also extremely helpful with our last minute questions/ panic!

The staff on the day were also incredible and nothing was too much trouble (special mention to Ed and Sasha). The food was exquisite! All our guests commented that the food was lovely, even the breakfast the next morning. And the rooms! Wow! We stayed in the retreat and even though it was 2am we made use of the enormous jacuzzi bath! Our guests absolutely loved their rooms and have said they will definitely be returning. My husband and I are already planning our anniversary trip and cannot wait to return!

Beautiful location near to the Lake District amenities. Would have been higher. Room had a fantastic ensuite with Jacuzzi bath, but only a standard double bed. Food was good but same menu both nights

I just wanted to say thank you, to the brilliant staff, our wedding was on the 30th of March 2022. I can confidently say from the wedding preparations to the final day, nothing was ever too much to ask, all our inquiries were responded to promptly. The rooms were just stunning, our guests were very impressed, grounds immaculate, gorgeous views, plenty of parking. The food was also great, test and presentation, what can l say we had a fantastic stay at Broadoaks country house, and would highly recommend.

Amazing! Broadoaks Country Hotel. I went to Broadoaks for my sister's wedding from co-ordinating visits till the celebration day we got the most excellent service from staff. The rooms are beautiful, Food is lovely. The venue is great. Everyone is still in awe!

Beautiful venue for our sons wedding yesterday. The rooms are gorgeous. The food excellent but the staff make it as they are so amazing. Nothing too much trouble and they are all so polite. Thankyou.

Attended a wedding here and it was was wonderful, lovely food and great staff. Might go back stay in the future but anyone looking to book a wedding they did a perfect job from start to finish, we'll that was my view on it as a guest

Didn't stay here, but attended nephews wedding there. Facilities were excellent. Food was delicious, all the staff were friendly and helpful.

Venue is very top end and very clean.rooms we booked entire venue for our wedding. Staff are on point at all times. Food great. Friendly staff, Vicki our wedding coordinator addressed any issues promptly and calmed our nerves sorting everything for us. Dan directed the evening brilliantly and all the other staff were dressed very smartly in full uniform and the service that every single one gave was friendly and professional. Broadoaks recently hosted my wedding. The service was fantastic and the staff kind, thoughtful and helpful. Food was also good and the wedding team are slick and professional. Really good experience and I would highly recommend.

Lovely venue! I went as a Celebrant for a wedding today. The staff were friendly, kind and helpful (thank you for the coffee). Lots of small touches in all the rooms which was so lovely. A beautiful winter's wedding, well decorated. Guests were also raving about the rooms, definitely a great venue for a wedding!

Just returned from en excellent two nights at a friend's wedding. From the first step inside to leaving we were treated with good manners and respect by every member of staff. Service and quality can be seen every where from the amazing rooms to the excellent and we'll presented foods that we had. Great bar with a good range of spirits and beers. We liked the local ale Swan Blonde.

The location is awesome and we found some great walks amongst the autumn countryside. The wedding reception was jus amazing with the setting and layout of the tables and the waiters serving the fifty guests all within a few minutes from the first to the last so no waiting whilst your food got cold. I am going back.

We have stayed at Broadoaks twice now, once in January 2020 and then for our wedding in September 2021. Both times everything was absolutely perfect - the rooms are stunning, the grounds are beautiful and peaceful, and the food is delicious! Mel is a fantastic wedding planner and nothing was too much hassle for her. Our wedding day was perfect and couldn't have gone any better, thank you for giving us a day that we will treasure forever.

We visited for a night with our 2 dogs and everything was excellent. The service from every member of staff was exceptional. The afternoon tea and menu tasting (of our wedding menu) was lovely and some of the best food we've had in the Lakes. The room (Riverhaven) was lovely and spacious and the bed was very comfortable.

Had our wedding at Broadoaks a few years ago but have returned for afternoon tea a couple of times and an overnight stay since. Never fails to impress and always maintains an exceptionally high standard of personalised service and delicious food and drink. Beautifully maintained grounds and buildings with truly unique accommodation set this place apart. Can't recommend highly enough.
