We had an executive suite and it was beautiful. We paid for late checkout, so didn't have to leave until 1pm. We ordered room service for dinner We had gnocchi which was lovely and sticky toffee pudding Would definitely book the room again, but breakfast was diabolical. Hotel is having renovations done at present and so breakfast was a make shift - not a lot of choice - set up.
There was only 1 young girl doing everything, so had to ask for cutlery, ask for milk, ask for juice. One of us is a vegetarian and the other is a vegan. Literally nothing to chose from for either of us. Breakfast wasn't part of the price, of our already expensive hotel room, so definitely don't bother paying for breakfast while they are doing renovations, as it is a waste of money. Staff throughout were lovely and would definitely book the room again. It's just a shame that breakfast was such a bad experience

The rooms had dated furniture and looked very different to website photos even though we selected executive rooms. The rooms were not cleaned in 3 days even though we requested twice with bins overfilled. We were told the spa would be open in the morning, but then discovered in the morning the Steam and Sauna facilities would be closed for another further 2 weeks.
When trying to book and a spa treatment at the desk, was told to go away and check the website for prices. It felt like we were a burden so didn't book the treatment and went elsewhere. The jacuzzi had a dirt film along the edge but on the positive side, the pool was nice and warm! I wouldn't chose this hotel again if I had a choice.

DON'T STAY here! From start to finish a poor experience, I have stayed multiple times in the past with no issues. This two day trip (family bereavement) was woeful! Breakfast is now not included, upon paying 10pp the food wouldn't. It even rate one star! All cold, no taste, forgotten ingredients, no black pudding. For dinner the steak was over cooked, full of veins and NO mustard.
The room was a good size.however dated, light not working, air con knowingly not working! They are more interested in the 2/3rds of the hotel that has been hired by the council to house refugees. AVOID at all costs! My entire family are from Kirkby and my father who was with me actually got married at this venue 49 years ago. Very sad experience. I would give 0 stars if I could

We went to the spa today for my husbands birthday. Staff were brilliant and helpful nothing was too much trouble. Afternoon tea served in a lovely area within the spa. The server bought us a decorated cake for my husbands birthday. The prosecco we ordered was provided for free as a birthday gift which was a lovely surprise. Enjoyed every minute and would recommend to family and friends.

We stayed here for 3 nights for my daughter's wedding. Was expecting a 4 star hotel, so was excited to stay here. HALF of the Hotel is currently housing refugees, so we were move to the executive suites. My room was nothing like executive. They were good enough to let us check in an hour earlier, which was great after an 8 hour flight from Canada.
We got to our room, which was a nice size. The rooms are very dated and needed updating and replacing. The bathroom smelt and there was no toilet roll holder. The garbage can has seen better days. The hand rail in the bath was rusted. The sofa bed mattress was paper thin and my son could feel the springs. The ceiling was a mess and the AC was not working.
They brought up a fan. The safe was not working, and we asked several times about it. The room are not dusted/cleaned and we had some sort of cooler fridge that looked like it needed to be condemned. We were finally offered to be be moved, but we had one night left and did not want to pack and unpack. The only thing that was good was the king size bed.
It was very comfortable. The breakfast was not great. They were short staffed and tables were not cleared or cleaned off. Milk and juice was warm Cold food and very slow to bring fresh food out. They offered fried eggs made to order, which makes no since when you have already have put your food on the plate. The food was lovely for the wedding, but the toilets were disgusting. Paper towels were left on the counter, plus cleaning products and a mop bucket. The washrooms smelt awful.

Quiet clean and polite staff. We had a great night at the suites the meal was very nice and not dear. We were talking to the staff telling them we stayed there 35 years ago on our honeymoon night. We were given a free drink how nice was that thank you to Margo who served our dinner and to Joel from Blackpool who was excellent at making my wife's cocktails he is a credit to the hotel thank you Joel.
Our room was really nice too. The only problem we did have was the swimming pool was closed on the morning we left it would have been nice to have a early dip before breakfast I recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good hotel, with a fantastic pool. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the cleanliness. Also the bathrooms are very dated. Our toilet didn't flush properly and the water in the shower could not be adjusted properly. The rooms and bathrooms in general could do with some updating/refurbishing as it's all a bit of a dated look. Also the breakfast is pretty rubbish, not much of a selection, it was all very limited and the food was generally quite bland. Having said all that, the room we got was perfect for our needs (2 adults + 1 child) and our family room was great, as we had a door separating our bedroom from where our child was sleeping, thus giving us a little bit more privacy. I would happily come back and stay in there again.

We had organised a Christmas night out here. It was Motown, there was lots of drunken people climbing on chairs running around., really loud. The duty manager had asked them numerous times but they took no notice of her. One of my party was hit by a chair, I got knocked and drink all over me. Emailed a complaint to the events manager who was very rude to me.
She said I was ageists, because I said the young staff tried to tell them to stop the climbing on tablets but they was ignored. I tried to explain to her that the one duty manager should have had someone else with her to tell them to leave and to keep other people there safe. The events manager was not very professional, she maybe should have some training how to deal with complaints off customers. I will not be organising events there in the future.

The spa facilities are great, although the pool is shared with the hotel so is in a separate location. The rooms are huge, with a separate living area to the bedroom and a massive bed. They are dated though and could do with a little modernisation. The evening meals were really nice, although the staff were struggling as there was a wedding on. All in all, would consider again for the spa but probably not for just a nights stay

Girls spa break at The Suite's hotel. The spa was nice, a bit of a walk from the spa part to the pool and the jacuzzi was not in use, which was disappointing, but if your expectations are not too high it was a nice relaxing afternoon. The room was basic, but the scary thing was the shower! All three of us used it, and we all came out saying it was very dangerous. Scalding hot water coming out of the wall mounted showerhead, and ice cold water running out of the tap into the bath at the same time.
We just about managed to shower without a burn injury. When we checked out, I mentioned it to the reception. A man who I assume might have been the manager on duty, made some excuse about it being an older system, and we didn't use it correctly?! There were no instructions, so if a child had attempted to shower, they would have no doubt burnt themselves.
I was not after anything but to get this problem sorted before an accident happens, but the staff member I spoke to was really defensive, not to mention lacking in customer service skills, so we will not be returning to the hotel.

Deveptively nice venue. Hidden close to busy roads and warehouses this hotel is an oasis of peace and tranquility. A courteous welcome, spacious and fully equipped suites plus a lavish bistro/ restaurant and bar awaits you. In addition a full beauty spa, gym, heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam rooms help you relax and unwind. A great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life!

Large comfortable suites, very clean and kept to a good maintenance standard. Very good full English breakfast, the continental selection could do with a bit more variety. Only problem was that even though breakfast is until 10am, they stopped replenishing the English breakfast buffet after 9-9:15 and staff was a bit scarce if you wanted to ask for anything. Pool facilities were great, including the jacuzzi, steam room, sauna. Very friendly and helpful staff throughout.
