WEDDING 14.5.22. Mildred and Graham Well what can we say? We had the most amazing experience at Holland Hall for our wedding on the above date. 6 weeks later and we still haven't come down to earth. The venue was absolutely beautiful, we managed to get married outside due to the fantastic weather we had, that started the day off nicely, mind you the night before when we visited the venue to run through a few things they had set it up for an indoor ceremony and to be honest it was swaying us a little as the room was absolutely beautiful, but no we thought leave it to the Gods and the next day my wish had come true, I can't thank the staff enough, Joanne, Tania. Chris, the waiting on staff and DJ Col who played all the right music and kept the floor full all evening, not forgetting Tracey at Impress your Guests, the venue dresser who did a wonderful job supplying and setting up of the outside and inside it was amazing.

The setting and historical value of this venue is second to non and we just wish we could do it all again, we can highly recommend this venue and it's staff to anyone having any kind of celebration you will be treated with kindness and respect by all the staff. Thank you Holland Hall for making us feel special and all your hard work. Just one more thank you to the Chef and his team for the lovely canapes, the fantastic bbq and great late evening pizzas. An absolute nightmare afternoon waiting around 2 hours for food to be served. After we had finished eating, it took a further 40 minutes for our table to be cleared despite us asking twice. What's a real shame is that the waiting staff was an absolute delight (Maria and Sophie) and couldn't do enough for us when it was them that we were dealing with.

It was the management that completely let the establishment down with their complete incompetence. Says a lot about a place when the so called management could learn more than a thing or two from their own waitresses. Under no circumstances would I ever return. I would say I hope other people have a better experience in the future but after the arrogance from the management when we tried to give some feedback, I highly doubt it.

This place is totally amazing. We had booked our wedding at park hall hotel which went bust and won't refund our money the owner bill & his managing director helped not only us but another 10 disappointed and upset couples by offering to help in anyway they possibly could and tried to match our dates to as close as possible to the dates we already had, they showed us round this beautiful place nothing was too much trouble and the place was lovely, we are so pleased these genuine people came to our saviour I would recommend anyone to go and have a look around here and see for them selves what a lovely place it is and how lovely the staff are

Went for a meal for my grandparents wedding anniversary. we decided to go at night as we thought that would be quiet. when we got there the table wasn't ready so we had to stand around waiting for 10 minutes before we could even sit down. when we finally got to order food we were disappointed to see that only half of the menu was available. this was a massive let down as my grandad really wanted to have the chocolate bombe. our meal was also frequently interrupted by deafening music and drunken karaoke. i wish we had been told that there was going to be karaoke on before we booked as it completely ruined our meal. we weren't able to talk as we couldn't even hear ourselves think. our nice family meal ended up completely ruined by drunks. would strongly advise you to ask if there's anything loud on before you book. never going back here again

Held 50th birthday party here. Food was amazing, all guests were impressed by the quality and standard. All staff were fantastic and really did go above and beyond. Thank you. Would highly recommend to anyone wanted to hold a party.

Visited for a 50th birthday party. Lovely hotel, food was excellent, plenty of staff on hand for service, really nice friendly staff too. Lots of different parties going on but plenty of staff to cope. We'll run hotel.

I hired Holland hall for my husbands 50th birthday in September 2021. It was a surprise party so they used email for all correspondence unless I phoned them. The lady I dealt with was Julia and I have to say nothing was to much trouble. The party was only close family so there were about 35 people there, because i didnt want a DJ we compiled a playlist on my phone and we attached that to the system in the room, this worked really well and there was a small dance flooring the room that was a good size for the number of people there. we decorated the room the day before which was great.

Some of the guest booked rooms to stay overnight these cost approximately 125 - 145 each with breakfast included. The food at the party I have to say was brilliant there was more then enough and a great selection, we had burgers, ribs, chips plates of meat and breads it was really top quality food. We where so impressed with the venue and food we have for the first time ever booked christmas day lunch we have always had lunch at home so i hope it is as good as expected.

My family used this venue to celebrate our Dads life after his funeral. On the day the electric went down due to bad weather. Everyone pulled out all stops so that our special celebration could go ahead as planned. I would definitely recommend them. The staff were amazing and the food spot on. They stoked up the fires and put out candles. They kept us warm. We couldn't have asked for more.

What can we say about this amazing venue. Me and My Husband got married here 2 day's ago. From the very first meeting with Joanne, our Planner, everything has been perfect, even though, due to Covid, we had to postpone twice. Every member of The Team, including Tanya, Chris, Bevan (and Bill!) have been outstanding. Very professional, friendly, welcoming and enthusiastic to make our Day as perfect and magical as can be.

The decoration of the Ceremony and Wedding Breakfast Rooms were exceptional. The food was spectacular. The best we've ever had at any wedding - attention to detail was second to none. Thank you to the Chef, Peter, for the outstanding feast! The accommodation rooms were fantastic, to an extremely high standard. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious too.

The resident DJ (Colin) was fantastic. He played a brilliant selection of tunes, the dance floor was never empty. Every member of this amazing Hotel, played their part in making it an unforgettable Wedding Weekend. Can't recommend this venue highly enough. We visited a few places to choose our Wedding Venue, but we know this was, by far, the best choice we could have made. Thank you to each and every one of you. Deanne & Paul Gorton

I cant believe the changes over the last three years at this hotel with the work that the owner has done also the great. YES great staff front of house and in the chefs in the back ground along with the unsung heroes like the house keepers & gardeners etc. Really sad that I can still read BAD reviews from 3 years ago before we even owned it! I encourage everyone to write a review if you can good or bad as all reviews are read and responded to.

What an amazing place! I went to a wedding there and stayed over in one of the suites, it was so good, top quality and very comfortable and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I had sunday lunch in the pub the next day which was fantastic and they had live music on, I will most definitely be back! I cant believe it wasn't busier, this is a hidden gem and should be on secret escapes.

Had my daughters wedding here and they could not have done more to ensure we had a fantastic time and my daughter had the dream wedding she'd waited for. The hospitality and service excellent. The food was amazing.rooms for overnight stay great all refurbished to high standard. Highly recommend.

Standard rooms, nice building and grounds staff are lovely cannot do enough for you even the manager helps his staff clearing tables and serving food when busy, very polite staff. Good venue for weddings, business meetings, or party's. Good food chef will go out of his way to make sure your satisfied with the food, and will make meals to suit allergies. Price's reasonable quality above average, great breakfast for the money so all round its a big thumbs up from me.

Nicely done, both in terms of decor and quality and quantity of food. Good service, well presented plates and reasonable prices make this a good evening out destination. It also hosts many functions in its newly decorated function suite, weddings xmas parties etc all seem to be popular. It has nicely maintained gardens too for the photos.
