Be aware, they will turn you away during busy hours if you are not staying there. I have been routinely accommodating my guests to this place upon visiting the city until recently refused for breakfast because we are not hotel guests. It's understandable for guests having priority during busy hours but randomly turning people away without prior notice is not acceptable especially when staff gave different respond, a manager like gentleman said dine in for non guest customers are accepted before entry then we were refused by lady inside. It would be either clueless management that caused this or staff was discriminating intentionally, will never come back again.

A brilliant hotel just on the very edge of the city centre. Some great places to eat and drink within 5 minutes walk in any direction. Rooms are stunning and packed with luxury touches. The bath was a huge hit as was the TV with lots of films and TV on demand Breakfast buffet looked small but there was lots of variety and choice. The bacon is very tasty and the eggs are cooked perfectly. Warming the pastries on request.

I was watching a gig at the Philharmonic Hall opposite, happily my room here had an insane view of the venue and made for a great interval bolt hold for loo and bar. Had a good meal at their London Carriage Works restaurant. Venue is very smart and staff attentive. Room itself was clean and had a rain wetroom style shower and separate bath

Booked the half day spare experience for my pregnant daughter and her husband as a Christmas present. I visited Hope street hotel which is beautiful I was shown round the spare shown all the places they would have access to while there.my daughter was to have a facial and pregnancy massage and use of the pool. My son-in-law was to have a facial, massage use of the gym and pool.
I payed for the treatments while I was there. On the day they went for the spare experience they were told they were only booked for the facials didn't have access to the rest of the spare. They were there for approximately an hour which was not a relaxing or calming experience. While they enjoyed the facials the front of staff in the spare and hotel was a shambles(I had completed forms for them to stay in the hotel on the day of their spare experience (no one from the hotel got back to me).

Fantastic staff, beautiful hotel, amazing value. We were on a family trip for a wedding and stayed here for five nights. The whole place is perfect, from the helpful and accommodating staff to the modern building. The 1931 restaurant might have been the star of the week, helping us with a huge stroller and three kids from the night we showed up to our last pint. Don't look anywhere else.

Stayed on the top floor in a Deluxe King Room. Hotel itself was nice, staff friendly, room was quite small even though it was the upgraded room. Good view, bathroom was definitely the best part, very clean, great shower! I would say it's slightly overpriced for what it was compared to other hotels in Liverpool, location so good, some nice spots around the hotel. Visit Duke Street Market nearby if you get a chance.

Hotel is lovely, bright and modern. Our room is very spacious but it is totally impractical for doing hair and makeup. Lighting is subtle only real light is the bathroom which you have to lean over the sink and turn to one side to look in it. There are no mirrors near a table so nowhere to put makeup whilst putting it on. There are also no plugs near a mirror so had to balance straighteners on luggage rack. Such a shame really

This hotel without doubt is stunning. Spa is beautiful, the aesthetics are so so pretty. However, having been to an event, the event staff are some of the rudest, most abrupt and unhelpful I have encountered. Something reminiscent of "mean girls". Because they work in a beautiful hotel does not give staff the right to look down their nose at others or be rude. Such a shame, because it leaves such a sour taste and it would not be somewhere I would recommend.

Nice rooms, unfortunately some of them don't have great views, but we were able to change room and the staff were very accomodating. Everything was smooth and easy, the parking was very useful, room was cleaned properly. The bar is really lovely, it feels very grandiose, but honestly I wasn't blown away by the food. It was nice, but overpriced. Nevertheless, for the overall experience I would still give 5*

Absolutely amazing hotel! I've stayed here twice now and you absolutely cannot fault it. The rooms are amazing, the staff are too notch and make sure everything is perfect for you. A special mention to Hannah on the front desk, nothing was too much trouble and she did everthing possible to make our stay a first class experience. I won't be staying anywhere else on my next trip as this place won't be beaten.

Stayed at this gorgeous hotel as we were going to a concert at the Philharmonic which is just across the road, so the ideal place to stay if you're attending an event there. Very modern and plush. Beautiful varnished light wood floors and such a relaxing atmosphere. The young girl on reception was very helpful and friendly and welcoming and our room was gorgeous, very spacious and modern.
Due to Covid we had to move this hotel date three times but the customer service staff were just amazing and so helpful and accommodating which took the stress and worry away. Thanks to them all. One important thing I did notice was how quiet it was. We couldn't hear any noise from other rooms so the walls must be very thick, So had a really good night sleep. Will definitely stay there again and thoroughly enjoyed our overnight visit.

Lovely modern hotel with friendly staff in a good location. Bed was huge and very comfortable, large bath, air con was quiet and powerful, and the breakfast was great. Loses one star due to a few issues: no room service menu or info pack in the room, room was smaller that I thought it would be, some towels and refreshments not restocked by the maid, spa closed, ordered a taxi for the station which never arrived and staff were too preoccupied by a wedding to help. Overall, however, I would recommend this hotel, especially when the spa has reopened.
