Beaufort Park Hotel

Very disappointed in our stay here. Nothing like the photos, very outdated rooms. There were very odd smells through the corridor and coming into our room. The bathroom had mold all over the ceiling and pressure of the shower was awful. The room wasn't very clean at all, the carpets were sticky and the bed was rock solid. The hairdryer broke as soon as i tried to use it and there were brown sticky marks all over the ironing board which completely ruined my partners shirt for a wedding that we were attending. No friendly welcome when we arrived and no friendly goodbye either!

It's been really nice 2 nights stay with this lovely countryside hotel. They upgraded our room stay as our anniversary and the staff been helpful and friendly! Ample parking spaces and spacious garden The breakfast buffet is great and staff is very friendly and efficient! Dinner is well prepared and delicious and good value for the drinks! We would recommend this place and come back again soon. Keep up the good work team Beaufort Park

Went again for lunch after a gap. One person had fish( un-named) very thin, batter overdone, chips softish but as white as snow. Second meal had some salad, old and limp. Had to ask for mayonnaise and no-one asked if the meals were OK. No atmosphere. Will not go again.

Hotel that needs a 'spruce up' as it looks very tired. Very noisy at night. Breakfast was good but no marmalade! Noticed a horrible smell up the corridor as we left.

Stayed here 9th April came from Aintree grand national with canadolian bus tours. Hotel fantastic staff fantastic evening meal was lovely the staff I can't praise enough so polite and efficient. Singer on in bar all round fantastic weekend keep up the good work

Excellent customer service our stay was bought by my daughter for our 45th wedding anniversary, but on the day of travel we tested positive for covid after a phone call to hotel on two occasions we were allowed to rebook with no fuss. Just had a wonderful stay, brilliant staff, clean hotel and wonderful breakfast.

Great service from all staff. Comfortable rooms. Really great breakfasts and dinners in the bar / restaurant too. Loads of on site, free parking too.

We have stayed at this hotel on a few occasions but none in the circumstances of this recent stay. Coronavirus has altered so much in our lives that I was not expecting the same experience as our previous stays. But to our surprise the experience was not too different, quieter than usual but still pleasant nonetheless. Our room was adequate for our one night stay, clean throughout, but maybe not suitable for someone with motion disabilities.

The room was at the end of 3 corridors otherwise fine, with Autumn a chill in the air was evident so the room heating came on. But it was not adjustable in the room when it came on and off was determined elsewhere but it did enough. Our evening meals were served to us, a large room with large tables, the food, and service could not be faulted. As with the breakfast you choose the various items which were then served to you.

As I said some adjustments were expected but overall the experience was just as enjoyable as our previous stays. Recommendations of anything these days is fraught with obstacles due to that one word. But if our experience is anything to go by our stays at this establishment has always been a pleasure and on this occasion it was no different. Well done to all the staff working in such a different environment none of us could envisage.

Stayed here for a night due to working within the area. The room is ok but the internet and general signal is terrible. Wifi kept cutting out and there was no phone signal to fall back on. I understand the signal isn't the responsibility of the hotel but the wifi is. If they advertise wifi they should make sure that it reaches every room with a stable connection.

The room is lovely. However the arches restaurant was really poor I ordered a garlic bread with cheese it was really bare rock hard, and to top it off there was loads of flies around me. I also think everything on their menu is well over priced

Could do with an update but clean and comfortable. Food was delicious and generous portions. Staff very friendly.

My wife and I stayed at the Beaufort Park Hotel for one night, in a double suite with a jacuzzi in the adjoining bathroom. The room was clean and comfortable, with good quality furniture and a large, wall-mounted TV. Breakfast was good, with freshly-prepared food, fresh coffee and very polite and helpful staff. We were both very satisfied with our (albeit brief) stay at the hotel.

Nice room. Lovely spacious communal area on first floor. Helpful staff, well appointed menu, nicely cooked. Good bar, didn't care for singer

Very good. Room serviced every day. Breakfasts were excellent and all staff were polite and helpful. I hope to use this hotel again as I come to the area twice a year to see my daughter.

Just got back from a lovely one night stay had a really nice time fab room clean spacious and really roomy. Food great tea and coffee really good. Breakfast fab plentiful and hot the choice was incredible so much food. Hotel staff couldnt do enough for you very helpful dinner a bit hectic but food really good. My friend bed was a bit ripped on the bed itself massive rip in the bed and a large gap on head board to but apart from that I slept really well really had a fabulous bed really warm comfy and the bathroom was amazing bath and shower great. I loved the hotel bar lovely lovely staff served very well had a sugar free cola with food. Incredible service definitely would recommend and would like to come back to

A travel Inn/pub! The pub is called the "Archers" lots of space inside, plus some outside seating. Good selection of drinks, food is served all day. Ample parking, a busy venue, frequented by coach parties etc. Saturday nights have live entertainments.

Ate here at the restaurant. Food was fantastic. Seems to be quite a lot of home-made offerings - the pate, for example, which was amazing! We were a party of ten and everyone was satisfied. The service was excellent too. Only thing I think could have been better, was the seating arrangement. Possibly there was good reason for it but our table was positioned where two walkways converge, with a good view down one of the corridors into the services/kitchen area for one side of our table.

The slightly more pleasant and private area to the side of us remained empty for our entire visit so I would have preferred that space for our group and it might have freed up some space in the corridors for the staff constantly moving up and down them. Overall though, a very pleasant visit with excellent food and service. Highly recommended!

Great location. Reasonable price. This must have been a beautiful place, in its day. It needs refurbishment and the room needed a deep clean. I was happy that they allowed dogs so my partner and our small Jack Russell bedded down for two nights. We came home full of flea bites! The staff member at the front desk was very helpful. She explained that they had to change our room due to the one that I originally booked, didn't allow dogs. I just wish it had been treated beforehand!

Very professional, helpful and courteous staff. Room was simple but value for the price. Nice, comfortable bed. The restaurant offers a good choice of meals for reasonable prices. Fish and chips was excellent and in the morning a great choice for breakfast which was also extremely tasty. Well worth booking for the money.
