Built in 1926 Rickerby Grange was built as the Grange for the nearby farm and has been welcoming travellers and holidaymakers through its doors since the 1930's. Rickerby Grange is blessed with a fantastic location. There's free car parking in our ample car park and from then on there's no real need to get behind the wheel again unless you want to venture further afield.
A public footpath outside Rickerby Grange will take you into the finest fell walking country in the land including the iconic Catbells, Grisedale Pike, (often referred to as the 'The Lakeland Matterhorn') Causey Pike and Skiddaw, the peak that dominates the area, all being easily reachable from our front door.

Phil's upbringing in Lancashire and Cumbria has resulted in an unhealthy obsession with Wainwright and he will happily pour over maps of mountains for hours - not to mention spending many hours walking up them or cycling around them. And Charlotte likes nothing better than putting on a pair of running shoes and venturing outdoors for a morning run up the fells.

Really good bed and breakfast. Everything is perfect, into detail. Nothing is out of place. Nice bedroom with ensuite and small pack of toiletries. As much coffee, milk and sugar as you need. Incredible breakfast which you order the night before. Nobody is in reception but you feel comfortable as everything is easy. Parking spaces in the front door. I really recommend this place if you like to stay near Keswick.

Only stayed one night, but was impressed by the place. Room was clean and fresh but a little dated and needed a bit of TLC in places. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they were great at catering for me as I am gluten free and even I managed to have a full English breakfast . The location was brilliant for us as we didn't want right in the centre of Keswick, very quite and a peaceful nights sleep. Would definitely go again if up that way.
