We had a lovely 2 night stay here at Acorn house. 5 minute walk and you are in Keswick centre, love the fact you order breakfast the night before to save on waste and it was delicious. Key box if you arrive late so easy entry and with a car park space. Only reason I haven't given a 5 is that the floorboards are quite noisy when people above you are walking around and the fan light in the bathroom is very loud so if you use during the night it takes 5 minutes to turn off, but these are tiny things. Overall I would definitely come back

Lovely guest house in Keswick with lots of careful thought towards guests. Hand wash facility on entrance and separate key safes for each room. Private car park with spaces for all 9 rooms. Guest lounge and covered outdoor seating area. Fantastic breakfasts especially the fresh fruit berries and granola in a jar and eggs benedict cooked to perfection.
The only disappointment was our room on the second floor had a low beam and sloped ceiling in the bedroom and bathroom. Being tall it wasn't an ideal room. Would definitely go back but would choose a room on the first floor.

Lovely hotel. Immaculate. Furnished in keeping with the building - really lovely. Breakfast is described as best in Keswick and as we've stayed in lots of places over the last 40+ years, we definitely agree! Bed very comfortable, great shower and chocolates were a nice treat. If you're looking for a central place to stay, this is for you. We are very happy to recommend Acorn House.

This was a great little place to stay. The room we were given was the best we've had (to date) and everything was luxurious and perfect! From free chocolates in the room and fancy free toiletries in the bathroom to the friendly atmosphere and delicious breakfast, honestly the price and place were excellent.

The guesthouse is in a great location, only a five minute walk from the town. There is ample parking there and there was a warm welcome. The room was fantastic (room 6). The bed was really comfortable and the shower was powerful. The breakfast the next day was lovely and all in all it was very good value at 98 for one night (Tuesday 17th October).
