Came away for a relaxing night with the other half. Paid 170 for one night with evening meal and breakfast. Accommodation was basic, room was incorrectly advertised as an extra large bed when it was just a standard double. Went in the spa which was okay before our evening meal. Waited a while for the food, which was good when it arrived. Had main meal and then there was a power cut.
It lasted 2.5 hours and the staff didn't know what to do so most went and stood outside leaving all guests indoors. No service after that until you asked and no apologies or remuneration when checking out despite not receiving our deserts the night before. Some people didn't even have their mains and were offered sandwiches an hour or so into the power cut. I appreciate that this couldn't have been avoided but the service could and should have been better. All in all, quite disappointed

Just had a fabulous 2 night stay and had the pleasure of being the first guests to stay in the brand new executive rooms, room 3 is just stunning. Done to a very high standard and very modern. The most comfortable bed ive ever slept in, fantastic air conditioning system that also operates heat and a humidifier so you can set the room temp to suit. Spacious bedroom, fabulous selection of nespresso pods and bottled water, tea and coffee.
Air dryer provided is actually pretty good. The bathroom is tastefully done, again bright and modern with a large shower. We have thouroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next visit. Thank you to Andrea and her team who have ensured we had a wonderful restful weekend.

Stayed 2 nights for my daughters wedding yesterday, fantastic day, food was great as were the staff throughout the day and at breakfast, thank you Gary the night duty Manager for allowing us to continue our celebrations long after the disco had ended enabling a much needed catch up that covid has denied us these past few years. Well done Barton Manor.

Beautiful place in a stunning setting. The grounds are well kept and offer an impressive first impression. There is a large car park with plenty of space available as well as disabled spaces. Reception is welcoming and friendly with fast and easy check-in. Rooms are sufficient, beds are comfortable and bathroom pleasant. I'd say for the price it's lacking in some of the finishing touches. Eg, coffee maker was cheap and difficult to use and lounging space wasn't very comfortable. However all in all pretty good. I'd recommend a stay and would stay again.

This is an OK hotel. The rooms lack AC which is crazy in the modern world. The parking is good with plenty of spaces. The Food is OK too, not brilliant but not awful either. Conference food was a bit bland and not the best but the evening meals OK. The reception is very small so at busy times be ready to wait. I wouldn't chose to stay here but if forced it is not a an issue.

Fantastic over night stay. Rooms were lovely, clean and well presented with some nice touches like the Nespresso machine. Could do with better hairdryers though as they are only the small travel ones. The spa is beautiful, was so quiet and peaceful. The changing rooms are mixed but have cubicles to get changed in and very clean. Great little gym as well. We can't wait to come back again!.

Very nice place with comfortable large rooms great facilities, Pool, Gym, Spa, Sauna, restaurant which provides good meals and cereal or a cooked breakfast if you prefer. Very nice friendly staff who make you feel welcome every day. The hotel is about 5 mins from the motorway and is not far from many other food or drink establishments if you like to get out and about.

Well what can I say, we booked Barton manor of our wedding back 2019 ready to get married in August 2020, the Pandemic altered this and after numerous date changes we settled for New Years Eve 2021 (Great suggestion Andrea) I can honestly say it was the best wedding I have ever been too, I know I may be bias, however guests all said the same! The Hotel staff could not do enough for you they treat every guest like royalty, and myself and the Husband even better if that's possible, they went out of there way to source a drink that my Dad would like and they delivered!
It was amazing from start to finish, Andrea the Hotel manager was brilliant with her advice and suggestions and the added extras she put on for NYE. We really could not be happier, thank you to all the management and your team at Barton Grange I will certainly recommend you and we will return for a stay very soon. Fabulous!

Evening meal was really nice, Staff could do with more training, the executive room was ok I have stayed in premier Inns that are on par for less money, my wife booked for a bottle of prosecco to be left in the room on arrival after asking 3 different members of staff over the course of nearly 3 hours it was finally delivered along with the greeting alright fella and no apology.
The restaurant staff in the evening are in need of more training. They were friendly enough just not experienced. The staff at breakfast were really good it was just a shame that the breakfast itself was not worth getting up for.

We have had afternoon tea here 2 y.a and it was lovely. How it has changed No value for money on the tea's now. The quality was bad also. Very small scone that needed further baking and bad quality ham. Tended to once just after we were served and never saw a waiter again. No chance of extra tea. It must have been exciting in the kitchen. Us and another table left without being noticed.

Last weekend for my birthday my wife and I returned to the Barton Manor hotel due to the excellent experience we had in August. Our expectations were high, however Andrea and the team raised the bar yet again. On arrival there was some balloons and a card in our fantastic 2 bedroom Gatehouse which was a really nice personal touch. The service, food and cleanliness was spot on!
This hotel is absolutely perfect for a break away from the stresses of life as it is set in beautiful grounds with a wonderful swimming pool, Spa and luscious Walled Garden. We would highly recommend this hotel and again huge thanks to Andrea and her fantastic staff.

Booked a deluxe room in the annex but wouldn't book again, there was no wifi in the room at all for the two night stay which I reported to reception several times but kept being fobbed off. Wouldn't have been so bad but 4G and 3G was also nonexistent. Decor of the room was nice though, and it was clean. There was also a wedding at the venue on the first night of the stay which we weren't aware of when booking, the loud music could be heard until just after midnight at which point fights broke out and a police van had to be called.
There was no apology about this from the hotel either, although it made the stay far from a 'deluxe' experience. Ate at the walled garden one evening and the food was extremely average but priced quite high for the quality. Comparable to chain restaurants who are priced better (such as Toby carvery etc). Breakfast in the mornings were nice though, and staff were welcoming.
The pool facilities were also a nice extra. Overall though, paying almost 200 for two night b&b just isn't worth the money at all and would have had a similar/better experience at a cheaper chain hotel. Such a shame. Mentioned all of the above on checkout and no offer was made to partially refund the stay despite the sub-par experience. Just a disappointment, wouldn't stay again.

Went for a wedding reception, lots of room and places for photography. Stairs into dining area and toilets might be an issue for people with who struggle with walking or require wheelchairs but we managed with a pram easily. May be other access arrangements that are not obvious. Drinks at the bar were reasonably priced, good selection but nothing beyond a standard pub bar.
Food was excellent and very nicely presented, all food arrived promptly and everyone was served within a short time period. Somewhat toddler friendly due to stairs but generally safe for children to run around carefree. Could not find any changing facilities for children so just used the downstairs boardroom next to the toilets as the door was unlocked. Overall lovely place for a wedding reception.

Nice hotel and well priced but very basic. Doesn't feel like a 4 star hotel, if so, a very basic one. Televisions in rooms are quite poor and sound quality is awful. Bath slightly small but still nice bathroom and decent bed. No air con is a downside but basic necessities if staying for a night or two.
