The Lincolnshire Coast is relatively easy to travel to. The location in central eastern England is ideal for easy access for most visitors throughout the U.K. Skegness has a reasonable and reliable Rail link. Visitors are recommended to carefully note rail network times, and appreciate that because we are not a mainline station, the frequency of trains may differ to that in City locations. For visitors arriving by Rail or Coach, both terminals are located on Richmond Drive (adjacent to the railway station).
Hint: The beaches at the extreme end of the south promenade (above) are generally deserted and are ideal for dog lovers. Access via the car park. There are also public toilets in the car park area. Let you dog enjoy 3 miles of open beach! The boundary of Nature Reserve Gibraltar Point is located about 1 1/2 miles to the south of Skegness. If entering the reserve regulations relating to dogs are in force.
