Here at The Sunningdale we offer clean, comfortable accomodation, consisting of ten bedrooms within a three storey (no lift), 116 year old Tudor style building, full of olde worlde charm and character. We serve a daily full English breakfast, lighter alternatives, along with cereal, toast and tea & coffee in the character and cosy atmosphere of our dining room with guests being able to enjoy breakfast at their own table but in the company of other guests.We are situated to the North side of Skegness, just a two minute walk to the miles of sandy beach and a ten minute walk to the town center where you will find a choice of shops for that bit of retail therapy, tourist attractions for that bit of sightseeing interest, rides and amusements for that bit of excitement and pubs and night clubs for the Night Owls of today!

Here at The Sunningdale we offer a varied choice of accommodation consisting of Double, Superior Double, Deluxe and Four Poster Rooms. For privacy each room has full en-suite facilities within the room, consisting of either a bath or shower, toilet, wash hand basin, along with towels and complimentary toiletries, flat screen televisions, tea & coffee making facilities and hairdryer. We do not collect any personal information from visitors to our website other than information that is knowingly and voluntary given.
Access to the town centre by public transport is about a 2-3 minute journey or a 10-15 minute walk. We have limited parking at the Guest House location but are unable to offer a car space reservation service, if a vehicle is not able to park within the Guest House designated spaces then you can park on the adjacent residential street where there are no parking restrictions.

So I am sat having breakfast in a gorgeous hotel when someone asks if I had been singing. Of course I was confused, until it was pointed out that it was raining outside. Such is the humour of the hosts. In fact the happy and gentle ribbing began at the moment we arrived at this beautiful hotel. I have only two minor complaints, so I will get them out of the way first.
The toilet roll in the rooms wasn't very nice, and the coffee at breakfast was like hot despair. But that's it. These minor things don't change the fact that the room was beautiful, the hosts were friendly funny and gracious, and the breakfast was tasty. I loved the rooms drinks tray with the love hearts on it, and the quirky little decorations about the hotel.
In fact the detailed and quaint decorations make this homely and comfortable. The beds were warm and comfortable, and all the facilities did everything you would need. Location is perfect too. If you don't mind a ten minute walk across the beach, you are near the bustling, bleeps, bloops and bangs of Skegness centre. But just up the top of the road there sits the single best Italian restaurant I have ever eaten in. Check out San Rufo's whilst you're here, but book ahead. Loved our holiday in Skegness, and it was great to have a beautiful guest house to go back to.

My husband and I have just stayed here 7th to 11th august 2017. Upside excellent breakfast service and food location also spot on. Unfortunately there was a lot of negatives. The bed was shocking old mattress lumpy hard n all springs sticking out. Bedding old, towels old frayed and hard. Room small no where to sit no dressing table to get ready at.
Bathroom desperately in need of updating, dirty grouting decor poor. Room just needed a good upgrade and cleaning could of been better. If you are staying for more than a night room 9 is not suitable.
