We stayed in September 2021. It was definitely an 'Experience'. I booked 2 sea view rooms, got 2 rear rooms. Glass in door smashed. Lift out of order. Reception non existent. Smelly, musty rooms. Smashed sockets. Bare wires in shower. Cracks in walls. Couldn't shut window or even curtains. Stained bed sheets. Stained chairs. AVOID at ALL Costs. Its not even suitable for homeless people. It needs demolishing. Staff terrible.

Well I was very disappointed with this place, the room was a mess with wallpaper peeling off the walls, carpet filthy, light not secured to the wall, seriously needs a good clean.afyer complaint I was told cannot have a refund but can be moved into there sister hotel 2 doors down which was still being renovated with no active live fire alarm. To be honest I will never stay here again. If your looking for a place with no worries about the conditions of it then go for it but personally I would avoid it

Stayed there for one night, no parking totally disgusting room and hotel, the man who works at the desk seemed to be hanging around in some of the places we were visiting in skegness which seemed strange. Darenth leave valuables in the hotel, cheeky dirty uncleaned room, water pump barely worked for a shower. This deserves one star tops for actually having a bed, no renovations were being done which are desperately needed, everything was closed in the hotel, other then access to the room. Felt like a hostel for tramps, would love a refund but didn't have to to wait for the receptionist to come back to the hotel, god knows where he went

Chatsworth Hotel I have stayed here a few times and depending what you expect for the price I found it worth it. Some rooms are better than others 2/3 rooms I stayed where very nice and the man on reception (Sorry I forgot your name) is very polite and accommodating. Compared to another hotel I stayed at I felt safe at the Chatsworth I would stay there again though the hotel is not new built I have enjoyed my stay more importantly it's only a few steps away from the beach being the only reason I visit Skegness. Thank you Chatsworth Hotel. See you soon

Pretty gross. Had to buy our own toilet paper. Toilet didn't work, had to use the one in the bar which had no seat. Bath broken and had to shower by holding the shower with one hand, wash with the other (like a Victorian) As we were leaving they were putting up a new sign for "Chastworth". didn't have the heart to tell them. Never again!

Bathroom shower door hanging off never got the room I booked online when challenged I got told noting they can do as fully booked up. I was stood in reception for 10 mins before being sorted as the worker was sat on the sofa on his phone with not a care in the world it has took me all my patience not to lose my head and I will be contacting trading standards as it seems its happened to quite a few others as ive now read the reviews I will not be staying again and advise any one thinking of staying here to go elsewhere as I paid 65 for 1 nights stay absolutely disgusting!

First of all it's not the Hilten or Ritz. It's a cheap place to bed down for the night, it's currently going through a refurbishment so no bar or restaurant. Some people like to moan over a speck of dust, or a cracked tile, yes the carpet could have seen the hoover for a little longer but the bed was clean, there were towels and toiletries in the room as well as tea and coffee. Only draw back was there were only two pillows, apart from that no complaints and value for money.

As a person who used to travel around the country for work, I have stayed in a few places that I would not stay in if it had been booked for me, so After reading all the reviews I was expecting the worse but was surprised as not as bad as they said, my room was small but tidy and had been painted recently, OK the bar and restaurant were closed but as explained staff problems, the man on the reception was helpful and polite, and said it was a work in progress, OK it needs a bit of TLC, but for a one night stay I would use again. Not the best but certainly not anywhere near as bad as the reviews.
