2nd time my partner and I have stayed in the hotel in a disabled accessible room and most definitely will not be our last, accessible rooms we've had were amazing, lots of rooms and easy to get around, bed very comfortable and bathroom great, shower easy to use too. Staff we dealt with were all unbelievably friendly, helpful and couldn't help more. Definitely recommend to anyone

We came all the way from Yorkshire after a long 7 hour drive and we were not disappointed. The hotel is beautiful with a really warm-welcoming and polite staff. The room was clean and the breakfast was incredible. Definitely a great value for money. I will be staying here again when I come to the south and will highly recommend anyone to stay here if they plan on visiting the area!

Not such a good stay this time. I asked for a quiet room on booking form but think the plumbing for other rooms ran through this room as I could constantly hear taps turned on and flushing water. The shower was changing temperature by itself and at one point the noise coming from it scared us as it sounded like something was going to blow! The bed was comfy and the room clean, however trivial I know but only 1 pack of biscuits between 2 when you've travelled 200 miles is a bit of a tease as we were ravenous.
This was not the fault of the hotel but we were woken several times throughout the night by noisy residents one time at 3.40 in the morning where a man was on the landing near our room shouting John and that was me awake for the rest of the night. I would stay there again as this was our first negative stay

Just needed a get away for a couple of days and booked this lovely hotel for a bargain price. Not pretentious & such friendly staff. Hotel very clean & covid aware. Will definitely return soon. Slept so well in a spacious room with no noise from the main road noticed at all. Only a few minutes drive to Portsmouth and all it has to offer as well as a few minutes to a lovely coastline. Plenty of cafe, s takeaways & restaurants nearby. Didn't eat at the Travelrest but breakfast did smell divine in the mornings.
