Lomond Hills Hotel

We were made to feel very welcome from the owners Alex's and Jan nothing was to much trouble, food was excellent and plenty choice, it's an old hotel so our side of the building still needed upgraded but extremely clean, we met lovely people, keep up the good work well done to all the staff

Dont be expecting anything when you go to this hotel. I was there for a wedding at Balbirnie house and had planned to drive back. Booking a hotel was a lastminute decision and only place available was the The Lomond Hills. Its located in the heart of the town. Its a place to put your head down, once you walk in you feel like you have gone through a time machine and been spat out in the 1960s.

We paid for breakfast and what amazed was being told that it depends how the chef is feeling. Firstly i thought dont offer the service if you can't provide it. We went down at 8.30 am, immediately i could tell that the kitchen and the service waiter want working as a team. We waited over an hour for our breakfast and when it came we had no appetite, toast was cold it was an experience. Definitely not a good experience. Would we going back, thats a big No.

Nigel served us at the bar. Very welcoming & friendly. Good dinner options. Fish n chips and the steak pie are great options. Charming establishment & friendly staff.

This is the second time we have stayed here and the lady who runs the place is great, nothing is too much trouble and our room was spotlessly clean and breakfast was delicious. We will be back again in the near future.

Absolutely amazing stay! We stayed for 9 nights for our anniversary. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do more for you. The room was very clean and we had house keeping every day. Every day we would come back to the hotel to a freshly made bed, clean towels and fresh tea and coffee supplies. The breakfast was amazing and fresh. My personal favourite was the smoked haddock and poached eggs. My partner loved the cooked breakfast and very generous portions. We loved the fact that the hotel was animal friendly. We will definitely be coming back

Firstly, this isn't the Hilton so manage your expectations. Yes the outside could do with a tidy, however, I look beyond mere dressings. The hotel is clean, spacious and warm, the beds are super comfy and the wifi works. The big selling points here are the great staff (nothing is too much trouble) and the food (absolutely beautiful). The lady on reception, seems to be everywhere and really looks after you.

The food portions are not small and you certainly don't go hungry. I think I'd take The Lomond Hills over the Hilton any day; they clearly like people and enjoy what they do. Set in a very picturesque part of Scotland, I'd recommend it very highly indeed. You'll be glad you did.

Their isn't enough stars for this place. For a start the receptionist was such a kind hearted women who would have done anything for us. She treated us with some much warmth we felt like we were friends which knows us for years The chef and his trainee can cook up a storm the food was exquisite and the portion size could feed 2 people. The hotel was very warm and comfortable and the gym equipment is the icing on the cake. Will definitely be coming here again

Beautiful setting very friendly staff, very generous servings of food at meal times excellent quality of food, i highly recommend the fresh salmon and scrambled eggs for breakfast. Rooms are lovely and clean. I highly recommend this place and hope to return one day.

Spent four wonderful nights hear with my wife and several family members. The management and staff could not do enough for us, they actually go out off their way to make your stay even better. The food is out of this world and the portions are huge, we all gained several pounds in weight so diet hear we come. Five stars to the chef for all the lovely food and also all the free extras that he kept feeding us with The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and our room was also spacious and bright. We definitely can't wait until our next visit.

Very nice hotel in a quiet yet easily accessible location. Staff are very friendly and accommodating for dogs. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious with a great breakfast to top it off as well. Would come back and recommend.
