After a long car journey from Ireland, we decided to eat here yesterday evening. The hotel and restaurant occupy a great location overlooking the small harbour with a number of seating areas but with the cold wind in the shade we ate indoors. Very nicely decorated and pretty obviously a dog friendly hotel but also people friendly I'm glad to say! We shared some very tasty Cheese and Leek bread to start - simple but really lovely with tub of butter, olive oil and Balsamic.
Main courses were a Gnocci with mushrooms and accompanying sauce. while I had Lamb Chump with fondant potatoes, endive and a wonderful rich but not overpowering sauce. This was one of the best dishes I've ever tasted anywhere! It was fabulous, harmonious and a joy to eat with the various flavours combining to make your taste buds sing. If this is taste of their menu then our stay is going to be superb with this fine establishment almost next door to us!

We only had lunch there while exploring Largo and were told the restaurant was worth visiting. The atmosphere was good. Decor was homey, service was friendly and everybody seemed to be having a good time. Good selection of food, however some of the items were rather expensive. The food was well worth it, though. Good quality, well prepared, nicely presented and served with a big friendly smile.

Absolutely lovely place. We were spoiled rotten and the food was marvellous. The scallops were perfect and the onion tart was a revelation. The staff could not have been more helpful, we will definitely be back for more. I reckon Sunday lunch will be a must. I'd love to stay over night in one of their gorgeous rooms and we only live 5 minutes down the road, that's how smashing they are

We had an excellent dinner here last night. With 6 adults, a toddler and a baby, we were really impressed with how the staff accommodated us. In particular, our server Jackie was fantastic with our 2 year old. We got to try their new menu and everything was delicious. The staff also encouraged us to share any suggestions we had about the food. Would definitely recommend!
