Stayed 3 nights in this lovely, homely guest house with our 8 month old puppy GSD in tow! Such a great and calming atmosphere and great it is family run too. Nothing is too much trouble. The food was fantastic and locally sourced. The view from our room was beautiful and such a perfect setting. Lots to see and do in the area too. Our pup loved it, loved their girls and all the great walks in the woods and swimming in The Lakes. Definitely going back again soon. Totally recommended. The retreats here sound great too!

A real home from home! I had such a lovely weekend staying at Ouse Bridge House and cannot recommend it enough! Virginia, Ben and their beautiful girls were so welcoming, friendly and accommodating. They made myself and my puppy Rita feel extra special. The house is spotless and the food was lovely, they even gave Rita some sausage which she loved!
They always had a smile on their faces and even though I travelled solo, I never felt alone here! The house is in a beautiful location right next to the lake, within walking distance of the pub (very important!). I look forward to returning in the future and meeting your new addition to the family, thank you so much for everything! Lucy and Rita xx

A great location between Cockermouth and Keswick. Lot of things to do within a short drive. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Clean and well kept interior. Breakfast was the star of the show. Offering veggie options this far out was fantastic. Coffee was top notch too. I would stay here again when visiting the Lake District. Again host very welcoming, more than happy to help with any issues you have. : Thank you!
