Close proximity to Victoria station which is nice but theres no lift so you have to walk up the tight stairs. The rooms are small and could do with a lick of paint.

@Viral Patel of The 29 London or someone who works here and can deal with customers decently. The Vink family went to spend the night in this Hotel in March 2022 this year with the minimum service no breakfast, but this was purchased during the stay of 3 nights. We have been in contact with the reception of this Hotel several times and we have been promised since March 2022 that you will refund the double costs charged to us by you. Months later We ourselves and Booking.com were unable to contact you.

At check-in, costs were again charged by the hotel itself and for the sake of clarity these are not authorization and or reservation costs. ("Like any other hotel, we also have a policy of securing guest bookings with their card and pre-authorizing the amount of the first night as a guarantee of the booking"). Why have these costs still not been refunded after months of trying to contact you?

Your staff don't even speak English let alone understand the issue and your so called Business model Hotel? I see that @wislamarkt also has problems with The 29 Hotel? Mr/Mrs Viral Patel Do you have enough time to respond to reviews but not refund the overcharged fees to your customers? We are curious if there are more victims of this hotel The 29 London? We will get our rights at The 29 Hotel in London.

Don't book this hotel! beware they are scammers! dont give them your creditcard, they will take out extra money from your bank account and are unreachable after that.

For what I paid for, I thought it was a solid 3. Good location, nice shower, clean, wifi, and breakfast. Could hear others but closing the bathroom door helped. Black mold on bathroom ceiling. Room could use a paint job. Hair dryer didn't work.

I'm honestly not sure why the reviews are so bad. We just stayed here on our london visit (may 2022), and I was at first a little skeptical given what I had read. The rooms are small, but enough to fit a full bed and a twin. I also loved there was an actual AC unit too. The bathroom was remodeled, and although it was quite small, did the job and had a great shower. You can hear noise from other rooms but it isn't anything that bothered us. For the value and location it can't be beat. Would highly recommend!

The one star is just for an edible breakfast. Even the front window is broken. The broken door is in my room. Mold. Disgusting place, dirty towels in halls.

Great location and a very nice shower, it's a bit small but really close to a lot of great attractions in London, the breakfast wasn't the best but me and the missus enjoyed our stay

Classic "if i could mark lower than a 1" situation! An absolute dive. Bodge job on cracks in the shower tray. Heating barely did anything, a constant breeze from the closed windows on a freezing cold night and 2 phone calls at 7am that were not needed or requested, the first of which the staff member was laughing down the phone!? You can also hear EVERYTHING going on in all the rooms around you!

We checked out ASAP on our first morning and the staff member chased us to the front door to confirm if we were leaving as if our complaints didn't get the point across! 100% book somewhere else and save yourself the money and hassle of finding somewhere else to stay beyond the first night! I recommend the Blue Orchid sites (The Rochester and The Wellington) they are a 5-10 minute walk away, well priced and they rescued our break after staying at this awful place!

Tiny loft room with limited overhead space; a small bathroom that requires you to almost stand on the sink to use the toilet; creaky bathroom tiles; and an air conditioner making noises even when off made this an uncomfortable stay. I wouldn't stay here again and wouldn't recommend anyone else to do so either.

OK so where do I start. when we arrived (despite requesting several early check ins due to flight times) we were greeted by a rude receptionist. was not very welcoming and proceeded to tell me my check in was declined as I only applied. I re iterated I had requested several times and no response apart from there is a fee for early Check in. finally agreed to check us in early but moved to a different room on 2nd floor. when we get there discover there is no lift and end up having to climb 2 flights of stairs. (actually 4 to get to second floor if you really count the break in each set of stairs) get to room and it is extremely tiny. holes in walls filled in with polyfilla (not painted over) hole behind the door, marks on walls where pictures have been changed and not cleaned before placing a smaller picture. dirty yellow glue on the walls. plug sockets not working. poor lighting. crack in bathroom mirror, bathroom door hasn't been painted in years and is yellow against the painted frames. marks on door, stains on sheets and bed covers, melted hairdryer yet it was plugged in and left for us to use. health and safety issue and I have reported this to powers to be with photo's. shower slippy and dangerous had to place towel on bottom to prevent child from slipping. breakfast I get was not available as standard breakfast due to covid and grab and go bags offered. but to be given what you would put in a child's lunch box was definitely not what I had paid for. there was no selection and we had to take what we were given. ended up having to change plans to get out earlier to get something to eat. luckily found a local sainsbury to get porridge. value for money is poor. had I seen the reviews before I booked I would never have paid what I did for such accommodation. Premier Inn charges the same price and they have better standards.

I used booking.com as had not been to London for over 20 years and and I wanted somewhere close to our venue. I have paid the same in top named hotels for better accommodation.

Our first night was horrible I was so upset, the room was cold and the small bathroom was freezing. I called reception he didn't know what to do he called someone. Eventually heating came on but was warm stuffy. air but if turned down was cold again. I was upset and asked to change rooms to which none were available. The carpet is dirty as are the walls, bathroom door.

I couldn't take my shoes off for ages as didn't want to walk on carpet. The room is tiny, the bathroom door opened just enough to get in as banged on bed. I had kicked the door in my sleep as the man suggested leaving it open to warm bathroom up. For the cost I've never stayed in such a small room and dirty. The shower was amazing. Slippy flooring so used floor mat inside.

The bfast was like a childs school pack lunch, no effort, egg baps could have been made or something. Again for the price I'd rather not pay for bfast and eat out. The sockets don't work properly, my phone charged to 67% and no further. Great location though! Wouldn't stay here again.

Atrocious, sleazy, disgusting, and BED BUGS! so in all fairness, i must tell you at the start of my review that it has been quite a few years since my stay at airways hotel. they may have changed. but unless a massive overhaul has taken place- and by that i mean: the building completely remodeled, all furniture and interior replaced, all new ownership, management, and employees- which i highly doubt has occurred, i would not trust this place whatsoever. it was honestly the most awful place i have EVER stayed and i still get the heebie-jeebies thinking back to it. i'm writing this review as more of a public service announcement. JUST DON'T DO IT. i would never want an unsuspecting tourist to experience what i experienced! the ceiling was moldy. the furniture falling to pieces. the carpet an obvious petri dish. the staff- unfriendly, unaccommodating, dodgy, and loud (you could hear the cleaning crew yelling at and scolding each other). but the icing on the cake?. BED BUGS. no joke. BED BUGS. the minute the sun went down the bed bugs were out. it was literally something out of a nightmare. needless to say i got no sleep that night, freaked out of my mind, and unwilling to lay in the bed. very early the next morning, i was out of there! -(after a big argument with the front desk as to why i would not be staying a second night and them threatening to charge my card anyway). who would knowingly place a guest in a room with bugs?! THIS PLACE. some of the other reviews online have titles that sum it up (and also worth a chuckle): "avoid like the plague!" - "our things were stolen" - "run away" - "hell is probably better" - "avoid" - "oh dear" - "worst hotel ever" - "nightmare-y" anyway, unless you want PTSD from staying one night somewhere. avoid. unless you want your london experience ruined. avoid. avoid - avoid - avoid. go elsewhere. seriously.

Returning from England with a bad back! The bed was awful. The room so tiny I had to bump into my sons bed to get out of mine. The shower only had scalding hot water ( no cold water). When we complained that I was burned trying to take a shower they said that there pipes were too big WTF does that mean? The Breakfast Room Was so small it did not fit all the people and some had to stand and wait for others to finish.

And then sit down next to strangers who were at long tables. To top off this bad Experience the guy at the front desk never looks up to talk to you! No eye contact? One important tip Do Not Let the hotel order u a shuttle for the airport. It will be late! After it was late by a half hour we hailed a cab to Paddington to take the train.
